Device for liquid treatment of textile web

A device for removing moisture from a continuously advancing textile web by suction. A suction slit which reaches crosswise across the textile web is provided, which is delimited on one side by a slide surface, on the other side by a roll. On the side facing the roll, the slide crosspiece has a concave recess, into which the roll partly fits. At its edge, facing the roll, the slide crosspiece forms a tongue-like projection, which extends over the top of the roll, almost to the vertex of the roll.

Device for removing moisture from textile webs

A device to wind and unwind a textile web onto and from a spool, when it comes into or out of a wet-processing group is disclosed. The device includes a guide and tension roll supported at the free ends of winding arms and resting on the spool. A moisture-extraction device in the form of a suction pipe is mounted immediately upstream of the guide and tension roll. The web may thus be wound onto the spool with a relatively low moisture content.

An apparatus for applying a treatment fluid, such as dye, onto an advancing web of material has a run-off surface sloping down toward the web that extends above and over the width of the web. The dye flows onto the web from the lower edge of the run-off surface. The dye is applied onto an upper zone of the run-off surface from individual nozzles, which are a constituent part of nozzle combs that are pivotable about a transverse axis between a first position disposed above the run-off surface and a second position over a run-off gutter.

An apparatus for applying a treatment fluid on a web of material includes a run-off surface extending transversely over a web to be treated. The run-off surface slopes down obliquely onto the web and has an upper portion upon which treatment fluid applied thereto flows down over the run-off surface onto the web via the lower edge thereof. A flow homogenizing baffle is provided on the run-off surface. The baffle is formed from closely spaced deflection elements that even out any irregularities that exist in the fluid film flowing over the upper portion of the run-off surface.

A jig has two winding rolls in two troughs which surround the winding rolls concentrically and contain treatment liquor, and a squeezing device for a web of material passing from the one to the other winding roll arranged between the winding rolls. The squeezing device is arranged high enough that the web of material runs from the squeezing device downward toward both sides. A partition extends upward between the troughs up to the squeezing device.

A gas burner includes a burner tube which has on one side a row of burner nozzles aimed against a surface to be heated. In the interior of the burner tube, at least one slider is arranged which can be moved from outside the burner tube along the tube and by means of which the end burners of the row of burner nozzles can be shut off from the gas supply which is supplied the center of the burner tube, so that the row of the burner nozzles can be adapted to the width of the surface to be heated, e.g., to the width of a web when the burner tube is used to heat a hollow roll used to treat a web.
