A hybrid module having a damper hub connected to an internal combustion engine, a housing, a clutch, an electric machine which has a rotor and a stator connected to the housing, a torque converter has a converter housing connected to a central hub and a turbine shaft, and an output shaft. The rotor of the electric machine is connected to the central hub or the converter housing. The turbine shaft is connected to the output shaft to be fixed with respect to rotation and the clutch is arranged between the damper hub and the torque converter The central hub is supported at the output shaft via at least one bearing and is supported at the damper hub via at least two bearings and the damper hub is supported at the housing by a bearing.

Coupling arrangement for the powertrain of a vehicle

A motor vehicle includes a drive train having a drive unit, a gearbox having a first gearbox input shaft and a second gearbox input shaft, and a clutch having a first clutch device which is associated with the first gearbox input shaft, and a second clutch device which is associated with the second gearbox input shaft, for transferring torque between the drive unit and the gearbox. The first and second clutch devices are plate clutches to which an operating fluid, such as a cooling oil, is supplied to operate the same. The gearbox is associated with an actuator device and a control device for controlling the actuator device, the arrangement of which enables the gears associated with the first and second gearbox input shafts to be engaged and disengaged. The control device is designed such that at least one gear is automatically engaged by the actuator device, as a result of the clutch release of the vehicle.

Motor vehicle comprising a drive train having a multiple clutch drive

A power train for a motor vehicle is configured with a control unit operable to increase or decrease the flow of operating fluid as a function of the instantaneous demand for the supply of the operating fluid to at least one of multiple clutch arrangements in such a way that the control unit decreases or interrupts the flow of operating fluid when the supply demand is low and increases the flow of operating fluid unit when the supply demand is high.

A multiple disk clutch device for arrangement in a drivetrain of a motor vehicle between a drive unit and a transmission, includes at least an inner and an outer disk clutch arrangement that are radially staggered and associated with a transmission input shaft of the transmission. Each of the plural clutch disk arrangements includes a set of disks, the set of disks have an outer disk associated with an outer disk carrier and an inner disk associated with an inner disk carrier. The outer disks are operable to mutually engage the inner disks in a driving arrangement. Each of the plural disk sets includes at least one disk having a lining and at least one disk being unlined where one of the inner and outer disks of the inner and the outer disk clutch arrangements of the plural disk clutch arrangements is the lined disk.

Double or multiple disk coupling device and disk arrangement therefor

A power train for a motor vehicle includes a drive unit, a gearbox having first and second input shafts, and a clutch having first and second multi-disk clutch arrangements assigned to respective input shafts for transferring torque between the drive unit and the gearbox. An operating fluid, especially a cooling oil, is supplied to the clutch arrangements for operation under action of the fluid. An actuator arrangement is assigned to the gearbox for engaging and disengaging gears assigned to the first and second input shafts, and a control unit controls the actuator arrangement so that at least one gear is automatically engaged when the clutch is released.

A rotary driving insertion connection, particularly for transmitting torque in a drivetrain of a motor vehicle between components or units of the drivetrain which are connected or are to be brought into a connection for transmitting torque, comprises a primary-side coupling area at a first component and a secondary-side coupling area at a second component. One of the coupling areas has a cutout which is defined by an inner circumference or at least an inner circumferential portion, and the other coupling area has at least one projecting portion having an outer circumference or at least an outer circumferential portion which is inserted or can be inserted into the cutout axially with reference to an axis of rotation in order to provide a positive rotary driving engagement between the inner circumference and the outer circumference. A plurality of coupling elements producing the positive rotary driving engagement is provided between the inner circumference and the outer circumference.

Rotary driving insertion connection, particularly for transmitting torque in a drivetrain of a motor vehicle

A hydrodynamic torque converter includes a converter housing and a turbine wheel which is arranged in the converter housing and is rotatable with respect to the converter housing about a rotational axis of the converter The torque converter further includes a lockup clutch for producing a torque transmission connection between the converter housing and the turbine wheel. The lockup clutch has a first friction surface arrangement held by a first friction surface carrier arrangement substantially fixed with respect to rotation relative to the converter housing, a second friction surface arrangement is held by a second friction surface carrier arrangement substantially fixed with respect to rotation relative to the turbine wheel, a contact pressing arrangement for pressing the first and the second friction surface arrangement against one another in fictional contact, and an abutment arrangement at which the first and second friction surface arrangement can be supported substantially in the direction of the aixis of rotation when pressed by the contact pressure arrangement. The first friction surface carrier arrangement has a substantially annular body region connected either directly or indirectly with the converter housing and driver projections which are arranged at a distance from one another in the circumferential direction proceeding from the body region. Respective counter-driver projections at the first friction surface arrangement engage between these driver projections.

Hydrodynamic torque converter

A drive arrangement for a motor vehicle includes a drive shaft, a coupling device, and a coupling arrangement. The drive shaft is connectable with the coupling device for transmission of force solely via the coupling arrangement. The coupling arrangement has a first toothing arrangement connectable with the drive shaft so that the first toothing arrangement is fixed with respect to rotation relative to the drive shaft and a second toothing arrangement connectable with the coupling device so that the second toothing arrangement is fixed with respect to rotation relative to coupling device. The first toothing arrangement and second toothing arrangement engage when the drive shaft and coupling device are coupled together for transmission of force.

Drive arrangement

A turbine impeller rotates around a rotational axis in a housing unit, and a bridging clutch unit has a clutch element connected in an essentially nonrotatable fashion to the turbine impeller. The clutch element has friction area which can be brought into frictional contact with an opposing friction area on the housing unit. A pretensioning device acts on the clutch element to pretension it against the opposing friction area.

Hydrodynamic clutch device

A driving coupling for the torque transmission in the transmission line of a motor vehicle includes a shaft-hub coupling provided with longitudinal toothings for the releasable coupling of a crankshaft with a coaxially arranged hydrodynamic torque converter. The longitudinal toothings of the shaft-hub coupling have tooth cross-sections which become larger and smaller respectively in the longitudinal direction of the teeth. An elastomer layer is situated at least between the tooth flanks of the shaft and the hub which transmit the torque.

Torque converter coupling

A hydrodynamic torque converter includes a converter housing and a turbine wheel which is arranged in the converter housing and is rotatable with respect to the converter housing about a rotational axis of the converter. The torque converter further includes a lockup clutch for producing a torque transmission connection between the converter housing and the turbine wheel. The lockup clutch has a first friction surface arrangement held by a first friction surface carrier arrangement substantially fixed with respect to rotation relative to the converter housing, a second friction surface arrangement is held by a second friction surface carrier arrangement substantially fixed with respect to rotation relative to the turbine wheel, a contact pressing arrangement for pressing the first and the second friction surface arrangement against one another in frictional contact, and an abutment arrangement at which the first and second friction surface arrangement can be supported substantially in the direction of the axis of rotation when pressed by the contact pressure arrangement. The first friction surface carrier arrangement has a substantially annular body region connected either directly or indirectly with the converter housing and driver projections which are arranged at a distance from one another in the circumferential direction proceeding from the body region. Respective counter-driver projections at the first friction surface arrangement engage between these driver projections.
