A chucking device for a tool includes a tool receiving element; a collet for clamping the tool, the collet being inserted in an opening in the tool receiving element; a clamping nut for axially displacing the collet in relation to the tool receiving element; and a pressure piece which is arranged between the clamping nut and the collet and is rotatably mounted in relation to the clamping nut, by means of which piece the collet can be axially displaced in relation to the tool receiving element by the clamping nut. To permit a tool shank to be securely clamped in and released from the collet, even under extremely high clamping forces, the pressure piece has coupling elements for a torsion-proof connection to corresponding mating elements of the tool receiving element.

Chucking device

The induction coil unit for heating a component which is rotationally symmetrical relative to an axis, includes a plurality of coils arranged about the axis of the tool holder, with pole elements, which are movable radially with respect to the axis, of which pole elements each one consists of includes a stack of pole rods that can be moved relative to one another. A yoke ring connects the pole elements, which, when the coils are excited by alternating current in the tool holder, produce a magnetic flux running in the peripheral direction to inductively heat the tool holder. The pole rods of each pole element can be moved jointly by means of pinion rollers, wherein, however, slide couplings or the like are provided in the drive force transmission path between the individual pole rods so that the pole elements can adapt to different contours of the tool holder.

Induction coil unit

The invention provides a clamping system () for a rotary tool (), for example a milling cutter or drill. The clamping system () includes a base element (), a collet () and a clamping nut (), said clamping nut () friction-locking the rotary tool () within the base element () with the collet (). In order to avoid a relative rotation of the base element () and the collet (), the clamping system () has a form locking anti-twist protection which blocks a rotation of the collet () relative to the base element ().

The invention relates to a balancing or measuring adapter () for clamping a component () on a rotating machine element of a balancing or measuring machine, which has a main body () with a receiving opening () for the component () to be clamped, a collet chuck () arranged inside the main body () with clamping tongues () for centrally clamping the component () and an actuator () axially adjustable between a clamp position and a release position for actuating the collet chuck (). The collet chuck () is arranged inside the main body () so as to be axially moveable such that, upon a displacement of the actuator () from the release position into the clamp position, in a first clamping phase the clamping tongues () of the collet chuck () move radially outwards, firstly to a front chucking area () allocated to the component () to be clamped, and that in a second clamping phase, the clamping tongues () move radially outwards with an axial movement inside the main body () to a rear chucking area () allocated to the main body ().

Balancing or measuring adapter

The invention relates to a tool holder () for clamping tools by shrink fit. The tool holder, due to its specific shaping in the area of the shrink-fit head () and the shrink-fit base () of the tool holder, is less prone to oscillate than known tool holders, therefore allowing inter alia higher speeds so that the cutting capacity, determined by the speed of the tool, the tool feed and the cutting depth of the tool, can be increased and the machine running times required to produce a workpiece can be reduced. The tool holder () of the present invention allows to produce and machine workpieces in a substantially more efficient and economical manner.

Tool holder for clamping tools by shrink fit

The invention relates to a device () for tightening and releasing clamping tools (), such as draw-in collet chucks, mandrels and the like which allows a torque to be concentrically transferred onto a clamping device, such as a locknut (), clamping screw or the like without radial stress and without the threaded sections of the clamping device () and the collet chuck base () or the like being subjected to an unbalanced load. In a preferred embodiment, the device () is universally applicable, has an especially simple design and can be rapidly adapted to the respective clamping tools ().

Device for tightening and releasing clamping tools

The invention relates to a shrinking device for shrinking a rotary tool into a central receiving opening of a toolholder which holds said rotary tool in a press fit. The device an induction heating device for thermally expanding the toolholder in the area of the receiving opening. A cooling device with at least one cooling collar which can be placed on the toolholder, in physical contact with the same, and through which a liquid coolant can flow, is provided for cooling the receiving opening area of the toolholder. This liquid cooling considerably reduces the overall time span needed for the shrinking process.

Shrinking arrangement for a tool holder

A shrinking arrangement for a tool holder is provided which retains a rotary tool with a press fit in a central accommodation opening. The arrangement includes an induction-heating arrangement for thermally expanding the tool holder in the region of the accommodating opening. The induction-heating arrangement includes an induction-coil unit which is guided on a vertical guide column such that it can be displaced with its coil axis vertical and which is connected, in particular via a flexible cable, to an induction-current generator which is fixed in relation to the column, and in that arranged on the induction-coil unit is a contact switch which can be actuated manually and by means of which the supply of induction current to the induction-coil unit can be switched on and off in a freely selectable manner at least for a limited period of time.

Shrinking arrangement for tool holder having an induction-heating arrangement

The invention relates to a shrinking device () for shrinking a rotary tool () into a central receiving opening of a toolholder () which holds said rotary tool () in a press fit. The device comprises an induction heating device () for thermally expanding the toolholder () in the area of the receiving opening. A cooling device () with at least one cooling collar () which can be placed on the toolholder (), in physical contact with the same, and through which a liquid coolant can flow, is provided for cooling the receiving opening area of the toolholder. This liquid cooling considerably reduces the overall time span needed for the shrinking process.
