A hydrostatic traction drive system of a mobile machine has a first hydraulic traction motor associated with a first vehicle side and a second hydraulic traction motor associated with a second vehicle side. The hydraulic traction motors are operated in an open circuit and are jointly supplied with hydraulic fluid by a single hydraulic pump. The first hydraulic traction motor is controlled by a first control valve and the second hydraulic traction motor is controlled by a second control valve. The first hydraulic traction motor and the second hydraulic traction motor are each variable displacement motors with an electrically variable displacement volume, and the first control valve and the second control valve are electrically actuatable control valves.

Hydrostatic traction drive system

A hydrostatic drive system () has a load-sensing pump () with an adjustable discharge volume and at least one consumer connected to the pump (). The discharge volume of the pump () can be set by a discharge volume control device () that sets the delivery pressure of the pump available in a delivery line () of the pump () so that it is higher by a pilot control pressure difference than the load pressure of the consumer. The discharge volume control device () can be actuated by an electronic control device () functionally connected with a sensor device () for measuring the load pressure of the consumer and with a sensor device () for measuring the delivery pressure available in the delivery line (). A circulation device () is associated with the delivery line () to control the connection of the delivery line () with a reservoir ().

Hydrostatic drive system

A control valve device () for the control of a consumer (), in particular of a dual-action consumer, includes a control valve () that controls the connection of an admission side of the consumer () with a pump and a return side of the consumer () with a reservoir. The control valve device () has a regeneration function by means of which the return side of the consumer () can be connected with the admission side of the consumer (). The regeneration function has a short circuit device () located between the consumer () and the control valve () and provides a connection of the return side of the consumer () with the admission side of the consumer (). For the regeneration function, the connection of the return side of the consumer () with the reservoir can be shut off by the control valve ().
