A push-button device () is provided for actuating a technical system (), especially in a motor vehicle. The push-button device () comprises at least one push button () as well as a holding device (). The push button () is arranged in the holding device () and can be moved between a neutral position and an actuation position. The push-button device () is characterized according to the present invention in that a flexible cable device () for signal transmission is arranged between the push button () and the technical system ().

An operating device for selecting shift stages in a shift-by-wire gearbox. The device comprises a selector lever which is movable between a drive gear position and a park position, and a locking device with a spring-loaded detent pin and a lock-in gate. An actuator device, that moves the selector lever, comprises a disengagement device. A detent pin and a lock-in gate can be brought, via a disengagement device, from a first relative position, in which the detent pin engages a shifting track of the lock-in gate, into another relative position, in which the detent pin disengages the shifting track. The operating device facilitates simple and safe actuator-induced return of the selector lever, into the park position, and offers the driver reliable optic and tactile feedback about the actual shift condition of the transmission.

A measuring device for determining the strength of magnet fields using a Hall probe and a method for evaluating the function of a Hall sensor. The measuring device comprises a sensor having a Hall probe and an electric diagnosis conductor which is galvanically isolated from the Hall probe. The measuring device being able to continually monitor the sensor. In particular, the sensor can not only be checked qualitatively in regard to function or failure, but also quantitatively in regard to correct calibration such that, if necessary, an immediate correction or re-calibration of the sensor can be performed. In particular, measuring errors for instance, due to a temperature drift or because of mechanical stress of the sensor, can easily be eliminated.

Diagnosable hall sensor

A shifting device for the powerless transmission of shift commands to an automatic transmission of a motor vehicle, with a housing and with a gearshift lever () mounted pivotably in a shift gate, wherein the shifting device has a first and a second shift stop () for the gearshift lever (), each shift stop comprising a housing-side stop () and a gearshift lever-side stop (), with a detection device for these two shift positions (), and an inoperative position (), into which the gearshift lever () pivots by itself from a deflected shift position (), driven by a restoring force, is located between these shift positions (). An actuating device () at the gearshift lever (), disengages gearshift lever-side stop () of shift position () and the gearshift lever () can be deflected to another shift stop () beyond the shift position ().

Shift-by-wire shifting with P position

A sensor system is provided for a control device of an automatically shiftable transmission and/or with automatic manually shifted transmission. The system includes a shift selector lever movable in at least one shift gate for setting at least the positions Forward, Neutral, reverse, and park (stop). A position for manual shifting may also be provided for access to at least one position for the manual upshifting and/or a position for the manual downshifting of the gears of the transmission. A first sensor element is associated with each possible position. A first signal transmitter is arranged at the shift selector lever to detect the position of the shift selector lever. The first sensor elements and/or the first signal transmitter are arranged to detect a positioning of the shift selector lever at least between the positions Forward, Neutral and/or Reverse.

Sensor system for the control of an automatic transmission

The present invention pertains to a locking and unlocking mechanism, which is equipped with an electromagnet ( ) and is used preferably to embody a key and/or shift lock function in motor vehicles. Its basic object is to design such a mechanism such that the generation of noise during the transition from one state into the other is reduced compared with prior-art solutions. To accomplish the object, a pulsating voltage in the form of a direct voltage-rated pulse width signal (PWM voltage) is sent to the electromagnet ( ). The effective value of the PWM voltage is increased over at least three voltage pulses from an off-load voltage value to a preset final voltage value at the beginning of a phase of energization and it conversely drops, again over at least three voltage pulses, to the off-load voltage value at the end of the phase of energization, in a time-controlled manner by means of a circuit unit ( ) associated with a pulse width modulator ( ).

A shifting device is provided for shifting between different operating states of a motor vehicle transmission, with a gearshift lever ( ), which is mounted movably in a bracket and can be moved in a first direction between two shift gates (A, B). The gearshift lever ( ) can also be moved in a second direction along a first of the said two shift gates (A) into three said shift positions (X, Y, Z). A signal transmitter is provided for sending a transmitter signal ( ), and three said sensors ( ) are arranged at spaced locations from the signal transmitter and in the form of a triangle for detecting the transmitter signal ( ). The sensors ( ) and the signal transmitter can be moved in relation to one another by the gearshift lever ( ), and electric signals characterizing the particular shift position (X, Y, Z) are sent by the sensors ( ) at least indirectly to an evaluating device by which the transmission can be put into different operating states as a function of the electric signals. The signal transmitter at the site of the sensors ( ), sweeps an area that is larger than or equal to the area of a rectangle, in which the triangle can be congruently imaged. One side of the rectangle extends in parallel to the first shift gate (A). All three sensors ( ) are in interaction with the transmitter signal in a first of the three shift positions (X).

Shifting device for shifting between different operating states of a motor vehicle transmission

A Hall sensor component includes an assembly unit with a Hall sensor and a processing device. The Hall sensor has an electric current input for providing a Hall sensor output signal depending on a magnetic field acting on the Hall sensor and depending on the electric current. The processing device is arranged for receiving an input signal including the Hall sensor output signal and processing the input signal to provide an output signal associated with the Hall sensor output signal. A signal generator generates a diagnosis signal. The signal generator sends the diagnosis signal to the assembly unit as one of a control signal of the electric current input, to form a Hall sensor mixed output signal dependant on said diagnosis signal, and as a mixing signal to mix with said Hall sensor output signal to form a Hall sensor mixed output signal dependant on said diagnosis signal. The Hall sensor mixed output signal is provided as the processing device input signal.
