An apparatus for installing between a pair of spaced terminals a wire having a conductive core and an insulating sheath surrounding the core and interrupted at spaced stripped regions has a head defining a passage having an outer end, a guide element on the head at the outer end forming a passage alignable with the head passage, and a supply for feeding the wire along the head passage and the guide-element passage. A cutter on the head at the outer end can sever through the core in the stripped regions between the head and the guide element and the guide element can be pivoted on the head about an axis transverse to the guide-element passage for directing the passage at any of a plurality of different angles to the horizontal and vertical.

The invention relates to an electrical series terminal with lateral bridging contacts which automatically make an electrical connection between adjacent series terminals when the series terminal comes to rest on a load-bearing rail. It is proposed that terminals additionally be docked on the front surface of such series terminals, whereby these additional terminals automatically contact a frontal docking contact on the series terminal which, for its part, is connected to an assigned lateral bridging contact on the series terminal.

The invention concerns a straight contact and branch contact for the connector part of a plug connector or for a clamp for connecting several electrical conductors. It is proposed to stamp out the contact in one piece from a flat metal strip and to shape it into a U-shaped configuration in such a way that the ends of the contact, on one side, form a flat connector pin and, on the other side, form a cutting-clamp terminal. Leaf springs are freely s from the end pieces of the contact that are bent out from a back part thereof, and these springs are each directed with their free clamp edge toward the back piece, and form there a plug-in terminal.

The invention concerns a shunting lattice for electrical distributors that conduct the same potential, such as, e.g., PE ground conductors or reference lines, and it is proposed to arrange a two-dimensional surface structure in the form of a metal plate, an expanded metal grid or the like on the installation side of the shunting lattice, and this plate carries a mounting rail on which conventional, commercially available conductor supply terminals of large cross section are to be locked to the mounting rail with contact.

The invention concerns a multipole plug connector and it is proposed to provide both plug-connector halves, in addition to the individual conductor throughput connections, with a shield-conductor throughput connection that can be plugged in, which extends from a shield-conductor connection piece of one plug-connector half up to the cable connection-strain relief part of the second plug-connector half.

The invention concerns a transformer terminal, which consists of two parts according to the instructions of the invention, i.e., a saddle contact, which has the internal connection unit and which locks onto the coil unit of the transformer or is configured in one piece with the latter, and a slide contact for the external wiring, preferably in the form of individual terminals that can be arranged in series, which can be plugged onto the saddle contact. In this way, a very easily accessible and robot-accessible arrangement of the internal connection units is achieved, which assures, however, a complete contact protection also for the transformer terminals mounted in the finished state.

The invention concerns an electrical terminal with a housing, which comprises an insulating material, and with an actuating push button, which consists of an insulating material and that is installed in a guidance channel in the housing in a manner whereby it is capable of axial displacement. It is proposed that the housing and the actuating push button be molded in one piece during the injection molding of the plastic and that the internal wall of the guidance channel be provided with a recess in the region in which the push button is capable of axial displacement, whereby the recess serves for accommodating the material bridge that is molded onto the push-button.

The invention concerns I/O modules for a data bus, each of which consists of a base contact block, which can be set upon an assembly rail. Each base contact block has a flat bottom channel, in which the data bus lines and the current supply for the I/O electronics units on the circuit boards are guided, whereby I/O electronic modules for each connection plane or for individual groups of connection planes of the base contact block can be plugged into printed circuit boards arranged in the bottom channel, whereby a simple handling and a high modularity is given.

The invention concerns an equipment terminal plug for wiring electrical equipment with tight space ratios. An extremely compact plug construction is proposed, which has the socket part of a plug connection in addition to the conductor terminal plugs for various electrical conductors per terminal pole, by means of which the equipment terminal plug can be plugged into the electrical apparatus, whereby a high degree of integration of all connections is obtained by special arrangements of the socket part with respect to the conductor terminal plugs.

This invention concerns a plug device with phase selection, especially as a plug connector for track lights, and the problem is addressed of making such a plug device economically, with the smallest structural dimensions, and with the lowest internal resistances. This is achieved by a contact unit consisting of a connecting contact and a contact arm, which can be deformed by torsion and/or bending to contact different internal contact tap surfaces in the device.

The invention concerns a connecting clamp for electrical conductors with a clamping spring disposed on a current bar, where said clamping spring clamps at least two conductors. The object is to manufacture such clamps economically and appropriately for automatic handling. This objective is achieved by providing a contact point for a conductor above and below the current bar, and by forming both clamping points jointly through a single clamping spring.

The invention concerns a connecting clamp for electrical conductors (17, 18) which can be manufactured and assembled automatically as a mass-produced product, in an especially economical manner. This objective is achieved by a clamp without a current bar, where two conductors are simultaneously clamped by a clamping spring (7). Here, each conductor in the insulating housing has its conductor bed (15) or a conductor guide channel (16).

The invention concerns a terminal for the connection of electrical conductors with a fixed current carrying strip using a movable clamping spring. The clamping spring is mounted to be movable in the nature of a plunger and contacts the electrical conductor and the current strip simultaneously, and is arranged so that insulated conductors and conductors with the insulation removed can be connected, and the forces for moving the clamping spring are nevertheless able to remain relatively low. The plunger has clamping arms which engage the conductor in the manner of a fork, and an end portion of the plunger contacts the current carrying strip. The conductor is located in a seating which surrounds the conductor.

A marker plate construction for use in terminals, particularly, serially disposed multiple terminals as used in switching appliances. Known marker plates are linked into strips and have to be individually separated from the strip in cases when the juxtaposed terminal blocks have different widths. The marker plate strips according to the invention include tear-off connectors between the individual marker plates which are extensible, or are of variable length in such a manner that the cutting of the marker plate strip during the insertion of the individual marker plates at separate terminal blocks is eliminated.

Electrical distribution and/or connection devices include an electrically connecting bridge having two contact limbs with respective contact points for the connection of respective electrical conductors. The contact points may comprise spring clamps. The devices may be formed for mounting in line on a rail and may be formed for the connecting bridge of adjacent devices to be interconnected by a removable bridge component which has two contact limbs for engaging the respective said connecting bridges at web portions thereof disposed between the respective contact points.
