A gas compression system includes a compressor operable to discharge a mixed flow of gas and lubricant, a separator tank including an opening having a first face, and a separator element including a disk portion having a second face and a third face. The separator element is positioned at least partially within the opening and is operable to separate at least a portion of the lubricant from the mixed flow of gas and lubricant. A lid is coupled to the separator tank and includes a fourth face. A one-piece seal ring is coupled to the disk and is compressed between the lid, the disk, and the separator tank to define a first airtight seal between the first face and the second face and a second airtight seal between the third face and the fourth face.

Crankcase venting system comprising an oil separator arranged in a housing that separates the housing into an unfiltered air side and a filtered air side, wherein in the area of the unfiltered air side a valve is arranged that is comprised of a valve plate, a pressure spring resting against the valve plate, as well as a valve seat that is closed or opened by means of the valve plate, and wherein the valve is closed off by a lid that is locked or snapped in place.

A device for the precipitation of liquid from a gas stream includes a preseparator chamber in a first housing portion arranged to flow a gas stream laterally centrally to rebound from an opposing sidewall and deflect upwards to a main separator in a second housing portion. The main separator includes a drainage element separating oil from the gas stream. A guide element is arranged between the housing portions and includes an outer wall with a central opening and at least one guide part arranged on the wall to laterally deflect the gas stream. The deflected gas stream flows laterally through the main separator.

Device for the precipitation of liquid droplets from a gas stream

A filter element for separating a liquid from a gas stream, e.g. for de-oiling compressed air produced by an oil lubricated compressor, including an annularly closed filter medium and upper and lower end disks at the axial end faces of the annular filter medium, in which the lower end disk closes off an interior space formed by the filter medium, and a drainage tube extends into the interior space and is guided at the upper end disk by a preferably conical sealing element mounted on a support plate on the upper end disk such that when the filter element is installed in a container, the sealing element fits against and forms a seal with a cover of the container. The sealing element optionally has a hollow interior to facilitate compensation of tolerances in at least one of the x-direction and the y-direction.

An oil separator for separating entrained oil from a gas stream, the separator being arranged on a housing wall which divides a housing interior from a housing exterior. A support tube, which is arranged inside an outer casing and carries a filter element on its outer circumference through which gas can flow radially. The support tube is closed at its upper axial end face and communicates at its lower axial end face with the housing interior. An impingement separator is arranged in the vicinity of the lower axial end face of the support tube. The outer casing is closed at its bottom relative to the housing in a sealed manner.

Oil separator

A filter element (), especially suitable for separating entrained oil from an air stream, having a drainage device () including a drainage tube () which is connected to an upper end disk () of the filter element () by a connector () which may include preferably releasable clip hooks (). The resulting filter element with a drainage device is easy and economical to manufacture, and may have a modular construction in which the connector () and the drainage tube () are separate components so that the length of the drainage tube can be optimally matched to various filter dimensions.

A filter element composed of a nonwoven filter web of metal fibers affixed to a support body, in which the metal fibers of the filter web form an unsintered composite having a porosity of at least 90%. Preferably the metal fibers have a diameter of at most 4 &#x3bc;m.
