The invention relates to a polymer comprising: a) at least one polyether polyester copolymer segment, wherein the polyether polyester copolymer comprises ether units selected from the group consisting of the formula (II) &#x2014;[CR]&#x2014;O&#x2014;, wherein n is an integer of 2 to 4, Rrepresent independent of each other organic groups having 1 to 30 carbon atoms or hydrogen, and wherein in case n is equal to 2 at least one of the Rrepresents an ether group having the formula &#x2014;R&#x2014;O&#x2014;R, wherein Rand Rindependent of each other represent organic groups having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, and b) at least one polysiloxane segment linked to the at least one polyether polyester copolymer segment.

The invention relates to polysiloxanes which can be obtained by adding at least one monovinyl functional polysiloxane and at least one epoxy functional, monovinyl functional component to a Si&#x2014;H functional polysiloxane. The invention also relates to the production of polysiloxanes, to compositions containing said polysiloxanes, to the use of the compositions in a coating method and to substrates coated with the composition and to the use of the polysiloxanes as additives for finishing surfaces of hardened compositions with anti-adhesive properties.

The invention relates to a method for production of polyhydroxyfunctional polysiloxanes with branched polyglycidol polyether groups, in which firstly at least one allylic or methallylic starting material is reacted with at least one glycidol, such that an allyl polyether or methallyl polyether is formed, and then the allyl polyether or methallyl polyether thus produced is added to a Si&#x2014;H functional alkyl polysiloxane in the presence of an acid buffering agent. The invention further relates to polysiloxanes, which may be obtained by said method and the use of the polysiloxanes in coating agents, polymeric coating masses and thermoplastics.

The disclosure further relates to a method for producing metallic effect pigments and to their use in powder coatings, more particularly in powder coatings produced by mixing methods, as well as to the use of these powder coatings. Finally, the disclosure also relates to powder coatings.
