A caliper disc brake of a vehicle has a brake disc with an axis of rotation, a brake caliper, a brake anchor plate, a force transmission element, such asa lining support and/or a pressure plate, a holding-down spring for holding down the force transmission element, and a holding-down device () which is held and supported on the caliper by a holding device, which pretensions the holding-down spring adially against the force transmission device and tangentially in the direction of rotation against the force transmission device during forwards travel. The holding device has a center line parallel to the axis of rotation. The tangential pre-tensioning is at least partially due to the dimensions (VV) of the holding-down device in the tangential direction from the center line (M) being larger on the disc exit side than on the disc entry side.

The invention relates to a pneumatically and/or electromechanically actuable commercial vehicle disc brake having a brake disc, a brake caliper, a brake application shaft which can be actuated by a pivoting lever and lies transversely with respect to a rotational axis of the brake disc, an adjusting device which is arranged at least partially within an inner space of the brake caliper, and a first sealing device for sealing an annular space which is delimited by the inner wall of a through opening of the brake caliper and a device which extends through the through opening. According to the invention, a holding device, which holds a second sealing device for sealing the annular space at least partially, and a third sealing device are provided, which sealing device bears against the holding device for sealing the annular space at least partially.

Pneumatically and/or electromechanically actuable commercial vehicle disc brake

A brake includes a rotating element and a magnet wheel mounted on the rotating element so as to rotate with the rotating element about an axis of rotation. The magnet wheel has a first side extending transversely of the axis of rotation and facing the rotating element and a second side extending transversely of the axis of rotation and facing away from the rotating element. A first axial stop interacts with a first stop section located on the first side of the magnet wheel and a second axial stop interacts with a second stop section located on the second side of the magnet wheel for limiting an axial movement of the magnet wheel relative to the rotating element to a first predetermined amount. Along each line extending parallel to the axis of rotation and extending through the first or the second axial stop, the distance between the first stop section and the second stop section is smaller than the distance between the first axial stop and the second axial stop.

Brake

A sliding-caliper disc brake is described. To avoid inclined nonuniform tangential wear of the brake pads, each of the two brake shoes is 'de-coupled' from the brake caliper and/or from a pressure plate disposed on the actuation-side ('B-side'), of the brake disc. The brake shoes are braced against a brake bracket only on the outgoing side ('A side') of the brake disc, whereas the caliper is braced against the brake bracket only on the incoming side ('E side') of the brake disc. Therefore the caliper counters deformation of the brake and thereby reduces inclined nonuniform tangential wear of the brake pad associated with such deformation.
