An exhaust-gas treatment arrangement for an exhaust system of an internal-combustion engine includes a diesel internal-combustion engine. The arrangement includes a first exhaust-gas treatment unit and, downstream of the first exhaust-gas treatment unit, an exhaust-gas treatment assembly. The first exhaust-gas treatment unit and the exhaust-gas treatment assembly are arranged axially succeeding one another in the direction of a longitudinal axis of a flow path encompassing the first exhaust-gas treatment unit and the exhaust-gas treatment assembly. A hydrocarbon-feeding assembly is provided for feeding hydrocarbon into exhaust gas flowing in the flow path. The hydrocarbon-feeding assembly includes a hydrocarbon-dispensing unit dispensing hydrocarbon into the flow path downstream of the first exhaust-gas treatment unit and upstream of the exhaust-gas treatment assembly. A swirl-flow-generating unit is provided in the flow path upstream of the hydrocarbon-dispensing unit.

Exhaust-gas treatment arrangement

An exhaust-gas treatment arrangement for an exhaust-gas system of a combustion engine has a first exhaust-gas treatment unit and, downstream thereof, an exhaust-gas treatment assembly. The treatment unit and the treatment assembly are arranged axially one after the other in the direction of a flow-path longitudinal axis of a flow path including the treatment unit and the treatment assembly. A hydrocarbon introducer for introducing hydrocarbon into exhaust gas flowing in the flow path is in the flow path substantially axially between the treatment unit and the treatment assembly. The hydrocarbon introducer includes an introduction ring flow channel annularly surrounding the flow-path longitudinal axis. The channel is open in an upstream end region toward an outlet region of the treatment unit and is open in a downstream end region toward an inlet region of the treatment assembly. The hydrocarbon introduction assembly includes a discharging unit for discharging hydrocarbon into the channel.

An exhaust gas system for an internal combustion engine includes at least one component which delimits an exhaust gas flow volume via an outer wall and, on an inner side of the outer wall which faces the exhaust gas flow volume, supports at least one shielding element. An intermediate space is formed between the outer wall and the shielding element. At least one connecting molding on the shielding element is directed toward the outer wall and is connected fixedly to the outer wall.

Exhaust gas system for an internal combustion engine

An exhaust gas treatment arrangement for an exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine includes a housing which is elongated in the direction of a housing longitudinal axis, and at least one exhaust gas treatment unit which is arranged in the housing and has a shell. At least one bearing/sealing unit with at least two bearing/sealing rings is arranged in a radial intermediate space formed between the shell and the housing. The at least two bearing/sealing rings follow one another radially, are nested inside one another and are each interrupted in a circumferential interruption region. The circumferential interruption region of at least one of the bearing/sealing rings is offset in the circumferential direction with respect to a circumferential interruption region of another one of the bearing/sealing rings.

Exhaust gas treatment arrangement

An exhaust gas treatment arrangement for an exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine includes a first exhaust gas flow path leading from an exhaust gas inlet provided on a housing to an exhaust gas outlet provided on the housing and a second exhaust gas flow path leading from the exhaust gas inlet to the exhaust gas outlet. The second exhaust gas flow path is separate from the first exhaust gas flow path. A flow path switching unit changes the exhaust gas stream parts, which are conducted in the first exhaust gas flow path and the second exhaust gas flow path. A reactant supply device supplies reactant into the second exhaust gas flow path downstream of the exhaust gas inlet and an SCR catalyst arrangement is provided in the second exhaust gas flow path upstream of the exhaust gas outlet.

Exhaust gas treatment arrangement for an exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine

An exhaust gas treatment assembly unit for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes a tubular outer housing () elongated in a direction of an outer housing longitudinal axis (L), a tubular inner housing () elongated in the direction of an inner housing longitudinal axis (L), an exhaust gas treatment unit () being carried in the inner housing (), and a locking fixing device () detachably fixing the inner housing in the outer housing. The locking fixing device () includes a locking fixing element () held at the inner housing () in both axial directions with a radially outwards prestressed locking meshing area (). In association with the locking meshing area (), a locking receiving area () at the outer housing (), interacts with the locking meshing area () for holding the inner housing () in the outer housing () in at least one axial direction.

Exhaust gas treatment assembly unit

A mixer assembly unit, for an exhaust system exhaust gas treatment unit of an internal combustion engine, mixes exhaust gas discharged by the internal combustion engine with reactant. A mixing section (), downstream in relation to a reactant release device (), mixes exhaust gas, flowing in an exhaust gas flow direction, with reactant. The mixing section includes a core flow duct (), extending in a direction of a mixing section longitudinal axis (L), through which a first exhaust gas partial stream (T) flows. A second exhaust gas partial stream (T) flows through a jacket flow duct () surrounding the core flow duct and separated from the core flow duct by an inner wall (). The reactant release device releases reactant into the core flow duct or/and into the first exhaust gas partial stream. A mixer () is provided at an upstream end area () of the mixing section.

Mixer assembly unit

An exhaust gas treatment system is provided for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine. The exhaust gas treatment system includes a plurality of SCR catalytic converter units () connected in parallel to one another. At least one SCR catalytic converter unit () of the SCR catalytic converter units () is connected in parallel to one another can optionally be released and blocked for the flow of exhaust gas.

Exhaust gas treatment system for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine and process for operating such an exhaust gas treatment system

An exhaust system for an internal combustion engine, especially diesel internal combustion engine, includes an exhaust gas flow duct (). At least one exhaust gas treatment unit () is provided in an exhaust gas treatment duct area () of the exhaust gas flow duct (). The exhaust gas treatment duct area () of the exhaust gas flow duct () extends, in at least some areas, in an insulation volume (), through which exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust gas treatment duct area () can flow.

Exhaust system

An exhaust gas cleaning device () for an exhaust system () of an internal combustion engine with an exhaust gas cleaning element (), which is arranged in a first tubular body (), and with a second tubular body (), to which the first tubular body () is detachably connected via a clamp connection (). The clamp connection () includes a radially outwardly projecting first ring collar (), formed at the first tubular body () and extending circumferentially in a closed form and a radially outwardly projecting second ring collar (), formed at the second tubular body () and extending circumferentially in a closed form. A sealing ring () extends circumferentially in a closed form and is axially in contact with the first ring collar () and the second ring collar (). A first ring body () is arranged on the outside at the first tubular body () and is axially in contact with the first ring collar on the side facing away from the sealing ring (). A second ring body () is arranged on the outside at the second tubular body () and is axially in contact with the second ring collar () on the side facing away from the sealing ring (). A clamp () extends over both the first ring body and said second ring body () and tightens these axially towards one another.

Exhaust gas cleaning device, exhaust system and clamp connection

An exhaust gas treatment device () for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine, especially of a motor vehicle, has a multipart housing (), which contains an oxidation-type catalytic converter unit () and, downstream therefrom, a particle filter unit () one after another in an axial direction extending in parallel to a longitudinal direction () of the housing. The housing () contains an inlet housing part (), which has an exhaust gas inlet () and the oxidation-type catalytic converter unit (), and an outlet housing part (), which has an exhaust gas outlet () and into which the particle filter unit () axially protrudes. The maintenance of the exhaust gas treatment device is simplified if at least two housing parts () axially adjoining each other are detachably connected to one another by means of a clamp connection () and if at least one bracket () is provided, which is axially rigid in relation to the particle filter unit () and which cooperates with at least one such clamp connection (), such that the bracket () is axially fixed at least one housing part () by means of the respective clamp connection ().
