Disclosed is an axial-radial rolling bearing having an inner ring, an outer ring disposed around the inner ring, and a plurality of rolling bodies in the form of rollers arranged into at least one row disposed between and separating the inner ring and the outer ring. The rolling bearing further includes at least one rolling bearing cage disposed around at least part of the rollers and configured to maintain a predetermined spacing of each of the rollers from each adjacent roller in the at least one row, wherein the rolling bearing cage comprises a plastic coated main body that is at least one of ring-shaped or segmented. The main body has openings for receiving the respective rolling elements.

Axial-radial rolling bearing

The invention relates to a method for producing a rolling bearing cage for a rolling bearing comprising at least one row of rolling elements. In the method according to the invention, a ring or a ring element made of a metallic solid material is provided and shaped by a forming process and/or a cutting, material-removing process into an annular or segmented main body of the rolling bearing cage. The main body has openings for receiving a respective rolling element, the main body being heated to a temperature above a minimum coating temperature for thermal coating with a thermoplastic material powder, wherein the main body is then immersed in a fluidized bed containing the thermoplastic material powder, wherein thermoplastic material powder adheres to the main body, melts and forms a contiguous coating while the main body is present in the fluidized bed, and wherein, after the coating, the main body is removed from the fluidized bed. The invention further relates to an axial-radial rolling bearing with the described rolling bearing cage.

The invention relates to a device for detecting and monitoring damage to races or adjacent regions of bearing rings () of anti-friction bearings. The device includes a measuring device, disposed in the anti-friction bearing chamber, having a sensor and structure for supplying sensor measurement data to the outside. The device has an energy source, which is also disposed in the anti-friction roller bearing chamber and which comprises a first coil () for the measuring device and a second coil () disposed outside the anti-friction bearing chamber and destined for inductive transfer of electrical energy to the first coil (). The second coil () extends only over a part of the bearing circumference and the energy source comprises an energy accumulator () connected to the first coil ().

Device for detecting and monitoring damage to anti-friction bearings

A method is provided for supporting rotatable devices, particularly a medical scanner having an inner ring and an outer ring. According to the invention, the inner ring and outer ring are guided without contact in the axial and/or radial direction by the magnetic field of electromagnets, and the distance between them is monitored and controlled by means of distance sensors. For a bearing implementing said method according to the invention, the outer ring is made in multiple parts and has a U-shaped cross section that is open to the inside in the assembled state, into which the inner ring () extends, and electromagnets and distance sensors are disposed in the axially and radially opposite areas of the inner ring or outer ring.

Method and bearing for supporting rotatable devices, particularly a medical scanner

A device for measuring wear in large roller bearings that have two bearing rings (1 & 2) with space accommodating the rollers (3) between them. The device has an indicator that indicates a prescribed deflection between the rings and a probe (9) that is accommodated in an opening (10) in the outer bearing ring (2) with the end (11) of the probe able to come into contact with one of the surfaces of the inner bearing ring (1). The object is a device that will provide accurate and reliable indications of bearing wear even after years of use, that will be simple in design, and that cannot be damaged or destroyed by outside forces. The inner bearing ring accordingly has a groove (12) facing the probe, and the end of the probe extends into the groove. The surfaces of the groove are as far from the end of the probe as the maximal permissible depth of the wear on the bearing.
