The invention concerns a filter insert () that is provided as an exchangeable insert in a filter, in particular an oil filter, fuel filter or the like of an internal combustion engine. The filter comprises a filter housing () that can be separated along a separating plane () and the exchangeable filter insert () extending in an axial direction (). Two housing parts () of the filter housing () are sealed relative to one another along the separating plane () by means of a seal (). The seal () is secured slidably and captively in the axial direction () on the filter insert ().

Exchangeable filter insert

An intake filter for an internal combustion engine for a motor vehicle including an unfiltered air intake region, a filter medium and a filtered air conduit, in which the unfiltered air intake region is arranged beneath the engine hood of the motor vehicle and is attached to the engine hood. The filter medium is tubular body which has a porosity that ensures a sufficient filtration of the intake air for the internal combustion engine.

The core is supported by one or more movable stops (,) which can be retracted from the mold cavity. Plastic is injected into the mold via a first injection channel (,) with the core retained in position by the stops (,). Subsequently the retaining stops (,) are retracted and the mold cavity is completely filled via a second injection channel (,).
