A magneto-inductive flow measuring device comprising a measuring tube on which a magnet system and two or more measuring electrodes are arranged and/or secured. The measuring tube has in- and outlet regions with a first cross section and the measuring tube has between the in- and outlet regions a middle segment, which has a second cross section. The measuring electrodes are arranged in the middle segment of the measuring tube and the middle segment at least in the region of the measuring electrodes is surrounded by a tube holder, which guards against cross-sectional deformation of the second cross section.

Magneto-inductive flow measuring device

An ultrasonic flow meter comprising: a measurement pipe, which has a measurement pipe wall, at least in some parts a basic shape having a rotationally symmetric or polygonal cross-section, and a straight measurement pipe axis; a transmitter for transmitting an acoustic signal on a first signal path; and a receiver for receiving the acoustic signal on the first signal path. The measurement pipe has a plurality of reflection surfaces, by which the acoustic signal on the first signal path is reflected multiple times, and wherein the reflection surfaces are integrally formed from the measurement pipe wall, the reflection surfaces for reflecting the acoustic signal being designed in such a way that one or more of the reflection surfaces at least partially protrude into the basic shape of the measurement pipe and one or more of the reflection surfaces project outward at least from the basic shape of the measurement pipe.

Ultrasonic flow meter

A plastic is manufactured on the basis of at least four starting components (A, B, C, F) of which at least a first primary component (A) and a second primary component (B) can react with one another. A chemical reaction of the two primary components (A, B) is accelerated in such case by addition of at least one secondary component (C) serving as a catalyst. Additionally, according to the method, a tertiary component (F) serves as a filler, especially a color-giving filler. Initially a first multicomponent system (BF; CF; BCF), especially also a storable system, serving as an intermediate component, is formed, which contains, at least in part, both the secondary component (C) as well as also the tertiary component (F). Additionally, on the basis of the first multicomponent system (BF; CF; BCF) a flowable, especially liquid, second multicomponent system (ABCF) is formed, which contains the four starting components (A, B, C, F) in concentrations enabling the chemical reaction of the primary components (A, B). The plastic is finally formed by means of the second multicomponent system in that the therein contained primary component (A) and the therein contained second primary component (B) are allowed to react, at least partially, with one another. By applying the second multicomponent system (ABCF) onto an inner wall of a support tube, especially a metal support tube, serving as a component of an in-line measuring device, a liner internally coating the support tube can be formed from this plastic in simple manner.

This optoelectronic, finger-operated keyboard for use in industrial measurement equipment is designed to achieve an optimum signal-to-noise ratio and minimize the drop in the intensity of the infrared emitters during the service life of the measurement equipment. The keys for generating respective associated operation signals (n1, n2, n3) have an infrared-transmitting cover (1), one infrared emitter (3) per key disposed at the inside (12) of the cover and emitting light collimated virtually perpendicular thereto, one infrared detector (4) adjacent to each infrared emitter which is separated from the latter by a shield (5) opaque to infrared and is pointed at the cover, said infrared detector being located within the main radiation range of the infrared light emitted by the infrared emitter and scattered at a finger (2) but outside the infrared light reflected from the outside and/or inside of the cover. An operating circuit (8) comprises a separate control and detection circuit (15, 25, 35) for each key which generates current-control pulses (si1, si2, si3) with a mark/space ratio less than 1:1 for feeding the infrared emitter (13, 23, 33), and a scanning circuit (18) common to all keys which switches a current switch (19) connecting all control and detection circuits (15, 25, 35) to one terminal (SN) of a supply-voltage source into a conducting state.

A circuit arrangement is provided for connect each of a plurality of magnetic flow sensors to a single electronic evaluating unit. Each of the flow sensors includes a measuring tube through which a fluid flows, a coil arrangement, and two measuring electrodes. An electronic evaluating unit includes a processing unit for the potentials of the measuring electrodes, a subsequent digital calibrating and zero-balancing arrangement for generating calibration and zero-offset data, a memory for said data, and a generator circuit for generating the coil current. Through-switching is effected by means of a switching arrangement which includes an optotriac for each flow sensor and an analog multiplexer with double or triple switching paths. The multiplexer switches through the signals from the measuring electrodes. In three further variants, a processing unit is provided in the flow sensor, and a further-processing unit in the electronic evaluating unit. In one of these variants, each of the flow sensors includes a digital calibrating and zero-balancing arrangement and a memory for the data therefrom, whose contents are switched through via a digital multiplexer. In another variant, each of the flow sensors include an analog calibrating and zero-balancing arrangement.
