An apparatus, comprising a control element, which stops in a stopping position during a recurring sequence of movements, a control device, which is intended for controlling stopping of the control element in the stopping position by at least one control parameter, a detection device for detecting an actual stopping position of the control element at the time of a stopping of the control element, the control device being suitable for forming a difference between the actual stopping position and a desired stopping position of the control element and adapting the control parameter for a subsequent sequence of movements of the control element if the difference exceeds a predetermined desired value.

Apparatus, driving-in device and method

A device for driving a fastening element into a substratum comprises a mechanical energy store for storing mechanical energy, an energy transfer apparatus for transferring energy from an electrical energy source to the mechanical energy store, and an electronic control apparatus, which is supplied with electrical energy by the electrical energy source and is suitable for initiating an energy withdrawal process when the supply of energy to the control apparatus by the electrical energy source is interrupted. In the energy withdrawal process, energy possibly stored in the mechanical energy store is converted into electrical energy and fed to the control apparatus in order to supply the control apparatus.

Driving-in device and method for using a driving-in device

According to one aspect of the application, a device for driving a fastening element into a substrate has an energy-transfer element for transferring energy to the fastening element. The energy-transfer element can move preferably between a starting position and a setting position, wherein the energy-transfer element is located, before a driving-in procedure, in the starting position and, after the driving-in procedure, in the setting position. According to another aspect of the application, the device comprises a mechanical-energy storage device for storing mechanical energy. The energy-transfer element is then suitable preferably for transferring energy from the mechanical-energy storage device to the fastening element.

Driving device

The device for testing a memory of an electric tool has a control unit, a testing module, a buffer memory and an address translator. The control unit is coupled to the memory and configured to control the electric tool. The testing module is coupled to the memory and configured to test a specific memory cell from among a plurality of memory cells of the memory. The buffer memory is configured to provide temporary storage of the data that is stored in the specific memory cell during the testing of the specific memory cell. The address translator is configured to translate the address of the specific memory cell to the address of the buffer memory during the testing of the specific memory cell. A tool and method are also provided.

Device and method for testing a memory of an electric tool

A method for laying elongated winding material, such as for example wire, insulated or non-insulated strands, glass fibers, and the like, in which the strand-type material is wound in layers onto rotationally symmetrically shaped winding spools, the winding material being guided to a winding spool via a deflecting roller for the laying, and for the distribution on the winding spool the deflecting roller is moved essentially parallel to the axial direction, a sensor unit acquiring the position of the spool flange as well as the winding diameter of the winding material, and control signals for the movement of the deflecting roller being derived from the measurement values of the sensor unit.
