The present invention relates to variants of a parent glucoamylase having altered properties (e.g., improved thermostability and/or specific activity). In particular, the present invention provides compositions comprising the variant glucoamylases, including starch hydrolyzing compositions, animal feed compositions and cleaning compositions. The invention also relates to DNA constructs encoding the variants and methods of producing the glucoamylase variants in host cells.

Glucoamylase variants with altered properties

The present invention provides methods for protein engineering and serine protease variants produced there from. Specifically, the present invention provides serine protease variants having one or more substitutions as compared to a reference serine protease. In addition, the present invention provides compositions comprising these serine protease variants. In some embodiments, the present invention provides cleaning compositions comprising at least one of these serine protease variants.

Compositions and methods comprising serine protease variants

The present disclosure relates to cellulase variants. In particular the present disclosure relates to cellulase variants having improved expression, activity and/or stability. Also described are nucleic acids encoding the cellulase variants, compositions comprising the cellulase variants, and methods of use thereof.

Cellulase variants with improved expression, activity and stability, and use thereof

The present invention relates to combinatorial variants of a parent glucoamylase that have altered properties for reducing the synthesis of condensation products during hydrolysis of starch. Accordingly, the variants of a parent glucoamylase are suitable such as for use within brewing and glucose syrup production. Also disclosed are DNA constructs encoding the variants and methods of producing the glucoamylase variants in host cells.

Variants of glucoamylase

Variants ofsp. no. 707 alpha-amylase are provided that are produced more efficiently and thus more economically. Higher fermentation yields are achieved through introducing amino acid variations that promote solubility of the variant in a fermentation broth. Increased solubility allows more enzyme to remain in solution after expression in a host cell. This in turn increases the efficiency with which the expressed variant enzyme can be recovered from the fermentation broth.

Alpha-amylase variants

The present disclosure relates to variants of a parent glucoamylase having altered properties (e.g., improved thermostability and/or specific activity). In particular, the present disclosure provides compositions comprising the variant glucoamylases, including starch hydrolyzing compositions and cleaning compositions. The disclosure also relates to DNA constructs encoding the variants and methods of producing the glucoamylase variants in host cells.

The present invention relates to glucoamylase variants. In particular, the invention relates to variants in the starch binding domain (SBD) of a glucoamylase. The invention also relates to variants having altered properties (e.g., improved thermostability and/or increased specific activity) as compared to a corresponding parent glucoamylase. The present invention also provides enzyme compositions comprising the variant glucoamylases; DNA constructs comprising polynucleotides encoding the variants; and methods of producing the glucoamylase variants in host cells.

Glucoamylase variants

The present invention provides novel Micrococcineae spp serine proteases having multiple substitutions. In particular, the present invention provides serine proteases having multiple substitutions, DNA encoding these proteases, vectors comprising the DNA encoding the proteases, host cells transformed with the vector DNA, and enzymes produced by the host cells. The present invention also provides cleaning compositions (e.g., detergent compositions), animal feed compositions, and textile and leather processing compositions comprising these serine protease variants. In particularly preferred embodiments, the present invention provides mutant (i.e., variant) proteases derived from the wild-type proteases described herein. These variant proteases also find use in numerous applications.
