An introduction arrangement for a fenestrated or branched stent graft intended for deployment into the lumen of a vessel having a blind vessel extending from it. The introducer has a distal end intended to remain outside a patient in use and a proximal end with a nose cone dilator and an arrangement to retain the branched stent graft distally of the nose cone dilator. A sheath on the introducer extends over the branched stent graft to the nose cone dilator. An indwelling catheter extends from the distal end of the introducer and enters the fenestration or side arm and through to the nose cone dilator, the indwelling catheter has a guide wire extending through it. The guide wire can be extended beyond the nose cone dilator in use before the sheath is withdrawn from the branched stent graft so that it can be snared from the contra-lateral artery.

Introducer for a side branch device

A deployment device for deploying a self-expanding branched stent graft. The device includes a branched stent graft retained on an introducer. The introducer includes a main catheter and an auxiliary catheter preloaded within the introducer and extending from distal the distal end of the stent graft, into the lumen of the stent graft and through an internal branch in the graft and out of the fenestration.

Branch stent graft deployment and method

An introduction arrangement for a fenestrated or branched stent graft () intended for deployment into the lumen of a vessel having a blind vessel extending from it. The introducer () has a distal end intended to remain outside a patient in use and a proximal end with a nose cone dilator () and an arrangement to retain the branched stent graft distally of the nose cone dilator. Introducer for an iliac side branch device

A deployment device for deploying a self-expanding fenestrated stent graft. The device includes a fenestrated stent graft retained on an introducer. The introducer includes a main catheter and an auxiliary catheter preloaded within the introducer and extending from distal the distal end of the stent graft, into the lumen of the stent graft and through the fenestration.

An endoluminal stent graft deployment system incorporating an anchor wire system for temporary anchoring of a stent graft on a delivery device. The anchor wire system has an anchor wire extending from the distal end of the device and releasably retained to the portion of the stent graft by a releasable retention system. The releasable retention system includes a bead on the proximal end of the anchor wire and an anchor release wire which has fastening arrangement to retain the release wire distally of the bead. The anchor release wire extends to a distal end of the deployment system so that the anchor wire release wire can be withdrawn thereby releasing the anchor wire.

Anchor wire arrangement

A deployment system for introducing stent grafts which have a side arm or into which a side arm can be deployed. For instance the stent graft can be deployed into the thoracic arch of a patient. The deployment system including an introducer (), an auxiliary catheter () disposed within the introducer and an auxiliary guide wire () disposed within the auxiliary catheter. The auxiliary guide wire extends to adjacent the proximal end () of the introducer an can be extended from the proximal end of the introducer so that it can be snared from a side branch artery () to assist with deployment of a side arm () of the stent graft into the side artery or for the deployment of a side arm stent graft into the stent graft.

A deployment system for introducing stent grafts which have a side arm or into which a side arm can be deployed. For instance the stent graft can be deployed into the thoracic arch of a patient. The deployment system including an introducer (), an auxiliary catheter () disposed within the introducer and an auxiliary guide wire () disposed within the auxiliary catheter. The auxiliary guide wire extends to adjacent the proximal end () of the introducer and can be extended from the proximal end of the introducer so that it can be snared from a side branch artery () to assist with deployment of a side arm () of the stent graft into the side artery or for the deployment of a side arm stent graft into the stent graft.

An endovascular stent graft assembly () for use with abdominal aorta aneurysms () and having a main stent graft body () and a separate attachment graft tube () that extends proximally therefrom having the proximal attachment stent () thereon for infrarenal attachment of the assembly () to the aorta (). A distal end portion () of the attachment graft tube () underlies the proximal end portion () of the main stent graft body () and presses outwardly there against forming a friction fit, at an overlapping region (). The main stent graft body () has an ipsilateral leg () and a contralateral stump () at the bifurcation (). After deployment of the attachment graft tube (), the contralateral leg () is deployed at the contralateral stump to complete the stent graft assembly ().

Endovascular stent graft

An endovascular stent graft assembly ( ) for use with abdominal aorta aneurysms ( ) and having a main stent graft body ( ) and a separate attachment graft tube ( ) that extends proximally therefrom having the proximal attachment stent ( ) thereon for infrarenal attachment of the assembly ( ) to the aorta ( ). A distal end portion ( ) of the attachment graft tube ( ) underlies the proximal end portion ( ) of the main stent graft body ( ) and presses outwardly there against forming a a friction fit, at an overlapping region ( ). The main stent graft body ( ) has an ipsilateral leg ( ) and a contralateral stump ( ) at the bifurcation ( ); and prior to deployment of the attachment graft tube ( ), the main stent graft body is pulled against the vessel bifurcation ( ). After deployment of the attachment graft tube ( ), the contralateral leg ( ) is deployed at the contralateral stump to complete the stent graft assembly ( ). Preferably, an additional intragraft stent graft tube ( ) is deployed to underlie and press outwardly and support the overlapping region ( ) of the attachment graft tube and the main stent graft body.
