A method and apparatus for registering travel data of a motor vehicle with an electronically actuated drive train, utilizing a sensor device for determining actual vehicle data which relates to the travel dynamics, a time-registration device for generating time data, a position-determining device for determining position data of a motor vehicle, and a storage device for at least temporarily storing the actual vehicle, time and position data. The storage device is coupled to operator control elements for the driver-end generation of activation signals for influencing the drive train, and an actuation device for the activation-signal-dependent generation of actuation signals for the drive train. The storage device is designed to store at least temporarily the activation signals and the actuation signals.

A method for operating an electronically actuated drive train in a motor vehicle includes the steps of determining drive control signals for actuating a drive unit and gearbox control signals for actuating a manual gearbox from a power request of the driver of the vehicle, providing a predefined or predefinable driving style which can be selected from a range from minimum energy or fuel consumption up to maximum power output, taking the driving style into account in the determination of the drive control signals and the gearbox control signals, taking the local position of the motor vehicle into account in the determination of the drive control signals and the gearbox control signals.

Electronically actuated drive train in a motor vehicle and an associated operating method

A control system for a vehicle having a plurality of signal processing levels and actuators, in particular for brake, steering, engine and gearbox, for converting actuation signals and a method for controlling a vehicle. The system employs the following levels: an input level for continuous stipulations or an input level for discrete stipulations and an automation level for generating setpoint value signals, a predictive level and/or a reactive level for correcting the setpoint value signals, a coordination level for converting the set point value signals into actuation signals, and an execution level with the actuators. The actuators are connected to one another and to the coordination level by a fault-tolerant, redundant and bidirectional databus. Measures for redundant signal processing are taken, and data is transmitted in a fault-tolerant, redundant and bidirectional fashion.
