A multi-voltage storage system for an at least partially electrically driven vehicle comprising: a first high-voltage energy storage module and a second high-voltage energy storage module; one switching unit of identical design for each energy storage module, each switching unit having two positive inputs and two negative inputs, by means of which at least one load connection and one charging connection can be formed, a controllable contactor being provided downstream of each input, and the negative inputs each being able to be connected to a negative pole of an energy storage module and the positive inputs each being able to be connected to a positive pole of an energy storage module by means of the contactors; and a control unit, which is designed such that all the contactors of each switching unit can be controlled independently of each other in any way by the control unit.

A test apparatus for testing at least one switch device for a high-voltage battery of a vehicle, includes a voltage source for generating an electrical test voltage between a positive high-voltage path and a negative high-voltage path of the at least one switch device. The test apparatus has a first connecting device and a first current source for feeding a first electrical test current into the positive high-voltage path, wherein the first connecting device, the first current source and the positive high-voltage path together form a first circuit when testing the at least one switch device. The test apparatus has a second connecting device and a second current source for feeding a second electrical test current into the negative high-voltage path, wherein the second connecting device, the second current source and the negative high-voltage path together form a second circuit when testing the at least one switch device.

A disconnection device for a high-voltage electrical system of a motor vehicle for disconnecting a high-voltage line of the high-voltage electrical system, includes an overcurrent protection apparatus; a first disconnecting unit which is made of a first actuatable disconnecting unit, the first disconnecting unit being designed to interrupt a current flow over the first disconnecting unit in the activated state; a second disconnecting unit which is made of a second actuatable disconnecting unit and the overcurrent protection apparatus, the second disconnecting unit being designed to conduct an overcurrent to the overcurrent protection apparatus which interrupts the current flow over the second disconnecting unit in the activated state; and a control unit which is designed to activate at least the second disconnecting unit in the event of an overcurrent and to activate at least the first disconnecting unit in the event of an overcurrent-independent event in order to separate the high-voltage line.

A storage device for storing electrical energy includes at least one storage cell which has a cell housing, a receiving chamber delimited by the cell housing, and at least one storage element accommodated in the receiving chamber for storing electrical energy, as well as a safety apparatus. The safety apparatus has a separating device as a first safety device designed to separate at least the storage cell from a circuit of the storage device, a short-circuit device as a second safety device designed to short-circuit at least the storage cell, and a degassing unit as a third safety device designed to degas the receiving chamber. The safety devices are designed to successively switch from a deactivated state into an activated state during a critical variation of the condition of the storage cell.

A battery system for an electric vehicle has a high-voltage battery, a control unit, and a safety device for disconnecting the high-voltage battery from a high-voltage on-board electrical system of the electric vehicle. The battery system is characterized in that the control unit has two conductor loops, and that the control unit carries out a monitoring of the two conductor loops. Based on the monitoring, the control unit activates the safety device such that the safety device separates the high-voltage battery from the high-voltage vehicle electrical system of the electric vehicle, wherein the safety device has an irreversible separating element.

A pyrotechnic switch for switching off and establishing electric circuits includes a first electrical conductor, a second electrical conductor, and an ignition element. In a first state of the pyrotechnic switch, the first electrical conductor and the second electrical conductor are electrically connected to one another, wherein a target separation point between the first electrical conductor and the second electrical conductor is provided. The target separation point is separated as soon as the ignition element is triggered, wherein the pyrotechnic switch is provided with a third electrical conductor. In the first state of the pyrotechnic switch, the third electrical conductor is electrically separated from the second electrical conductor and from the third electrical conductor, and in a second state of the pyrotechnic switch, the third electrical conductor is electrically connected to the second electrical conductor.

Pyrotechnic switch and intermediate circuit discharge system

A DC overcurrent protection apparatus includes an ignition current-controlled irreversible high-current switch-off element, an overcurrent detection unit which is electrically connected in a high-current path in series with the ignition current-controlled irreversible high-current switch-off element, and control contacts configured to control the ignition current-controlled irreversible high-current switch-off element. The control contacts are arranged such that they are electrically connectable to one another. The overcurrent detection unit is configured such that, when an overcurrent with a value equal to or greater than a predetermined current value flows in the high-current path, the control contacts, on account of an electromagnetic force generated by the overcurrent, are electrically connected to each other such that an ignition current is transmitted to the ignition current-controlled irreversible high-current switch-off element and the ignition current-controlled irreversible high-current switch-off element is switched by control to a switched-off state.
