A pipe bending machine () includes a bending tool (), a pipe feed unit () and a mandrel retractor (). A pipe holder () of the pipe feed unit () and a mandrel bar support () of the mandrel retractor () are guided in the longitudinal pipe direction () by a common linear guide system () on the machine base. Alternatively or in addition thereto the pipe holder () and the mandrel bar support () can be moved in the longitudinal pipe direction () by a common drive system () on the machine base.

Pipe bending machine

A bending system () on a bending machine for bending rod shaped and/or bar-shaped workpieces and especially pipes (), incorporates at least one multilevel bending tool () with multiple bending levels arranged one above the other in the direction of a bending axis (). For each bending level a bending die () and, associated with the corresponding bending die (), at least one clamping jaw () and at least one slide rail () are provided. The clamping jaws () are effectively supported by means of a modular clamping jaw support (), the slide rails () by means of a modular slide rail support () in the transverse direction of the bending axis () and in the transverse direction of the workpiece, respectively. Clamping jaw support units () and slide rail support units () of which the clamping jaw support () and, respectively, the slide rail support () is composed, are appropriately configured.

Bending system with multilevel bending tool

A bending assembly on a bending machine for the bending of rod and/or bar-shaped workpieces () includes a bending tool () and a bending drive unit () with a swivel arm () and a bending-drive motor (). The bending tool () has at least one workpiece thrust block (), and the swivel arm () has at least one thrust pad (). The bending-drive motor () rotates the swivel arm () with the thrust pad () around a bending axis () that extends in the transverse direction of the workpiece. The workpiece is bent when the thrust pad () forces it against and around the associated workpiece thrust block (). The shaft of the bending drive motor () extends parallel to the bending axis (), and both ends of the shaft are drive-connected to the swivel arm ().

Bending assembly for bending machine

A bending machine for the bending of tube, rod and bar shaped workpieces () includes a machine base unit (), a collet () for mounting a workpiece, and a tool assembly () with at least one bending tool. The bending tool can be opened and closed in the transverse direction of the workpiece by the relative movement of tool components to form a workpiece holder. The tool assembly () is mounted on a swivel support () to rotate around a tool axis of rotation () extending axially of the workpiece, and the swivel support () is mounted on the machine base unit () to be rotatable around a swivel support axis of rotation () extending in the axial direction () of the workpiece. The swivel support axis of rotation () and the tool axis of rotation (), and the tool axis of rotation () and the workpiece holder, are radially offset relative to one another.
