The device includes at least one housing having at least two pressure feeds; at least one sensor module, the sensor module being accommodated in the housing, the sensor module including at least one support element, the support element including at least one substrate and at least one molding compound, the support element further including at least one passage opening, the passage opening entirely penetrating the support element; at least one pressure sensor element for detecting the pressure, the pressure sensor element including at least one diaphragm, the pressure sensor element covering the passage opening; at least one control and evaluation unit, the control and evaluation unit being at least partially enclosed by the molding compound. A method for manufacturing the device is also described.

A pressure sensor that is mounted on an intake tube of an internal combustion engine which prevents icing of the pressure connection. The pressure sensor of the invention has a stublike pressure connection, which extends from an inner wall of an intake tube to approximately the middle of the intake tube or beyond the middle, and as a result the risk of icing of the pressure sensor is considerably reduced. A pressure sensor is intended especially for mixture-compressing internal combustion engines with externally supplied ignition.

An apparatus for detecting the pressure and temperature in the intake tube of an internal combustion engine. A temperature sensor and a pressure sensor are secured to a carrier together with an evaluation circuit in a common housing with as little strain as possible. The housing includes at least two chambers separate from one another, one of which forms a pressure chamber that communicates with the intake tube via a stub and is sealed off from the environment in which the pressure sensor is secured. The other chamber serves to secure the temperature sensor therein by use of connection elements, and sealing adhesive connections that decouple mechanical strains for securing the carrier and sealing off the pressure sensor.

A device for detecting the pressure and the temperature in the intake tube of an internal combustion engine, including a temperature sensor, a pressure sensor and a substrate each of which are secured in a housing with as little stress as possible with the pressure sensor secured on a substrate together with an evaluation circuit. The temperature sensor measures precise temperature measurement. In order to introduce a fluid medium that is under pressure, a neck part is secured to the housing and an adapter is joined both to the substrate and to the neck part via adhesive seals that decouple mechanical stress from the pressure and temperature detectors.

A circuit arrangement for measuring a mechanical deformation includes a pressure sensor with compression-deformable resistors for generating an analog deformation-dependent signal and a circuit for evaluating the analog deformation-dependent signal. The evaluating circuit includes a summing amplifier and a temperature-dependent coupling resistor connected between the input of the summing amplifier and the pressure sensor. The coupling resistor has a temperature coefficient adjusted to compensate for the temperature characteristic of the measuring sensitivity of the analog deformation-dependent signal. A temperature sensor generates a temperature-dependent signal corresponding to a static temperature characteristic of the evaluating circuit. There is provided a circuit for applying the temperature-dependent signal to the input of the summing amplifier to combine it with the analog deformation-dependent signal. The summing amplifier generates at its output a temperature-compensated, deformation-dependent output signal.
