A base plate, which is made of plastic and is intended for supporting a rail for a rail vehicle on a substrate, may include a lower face, and an upper face on which a supporting surface for the rail is formed, a recess, from which a passage leads to the upper face of the base plate, being formed in the lower face of the base plate, the diameter of the recess in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the passage being greater at least in part than the diameter of the passage, so that a stop for an insert piece fitted into the recess is formed on the top surface, assigned to the upper face of the base plate of the recess.

The invention relates to a tension clamp for the holding of a rail for rail vehicles and a rail fastening point. The tension clamp has a central section having two legs, two torsional sections connected thereto and leading away laterally in an outwards direction having a supporting zone, and two supporting arms connected to the torsional sections. The supporting arms run to the front face of the tension clamp and have a spring section and a support section with a supporting zone. The fact that the support sections point laterally in an outwards direction such that the straight lines which in each case connect the centers of the supporting zones and the torsional section allocated to the supporting arm in an area on the rear face of the tension element increases the natural frequencies of the tension clamp such that they are outside of stimulation frequencies that occur in practice.

The invention relates to a sleeper for the track superstructure, which is manufactured in one piece from a plastic material, with the sleeper having an elongated base shape with two end sections, which are connected by a middle section of the sleeper and held at a distance and on their upper side in each case one contact surface is provided for in each case one rail to be supported on the respective end section with a reinforcement extending in the longitudinal direction of the sleeper being embedded into the middle section. In order to design such a plastic sleeper such that it has optimised strength and can be reliably manufactured even using cost-effective plastic/sand mixtures having a high proportion of sand, the invention proposes that the reinforcement extends over the length of the middle section, that the reinforcement is in each case anchored in the respective end section in an edge region of the end sections assigned to the middle section and in that the reinforcement is wholly or partially arranged in the upper quarter of the height of the sleeper.

Sleeper for a track superstructure

The invention relates to a method which enables sleepers to be produced for the railway track superstructure having optimised performance characteristics, in a reliable and cost-effective manner. The method according to the invention provides the following production steps: a) providing a mixture 10-60 % mass of which consists of a granulate of a plastic, which is deformable by applying heat, and the remainder of which consists of a sand having a bulk density of 1.4-2.0 g/cm; b) heating the mixture to a temperature of 150-200&#xb0; C.; c) pouring the mixture into a press mould reproducing the sleeper; d) pressing the mixture in the mould at a pressing pressure measured in the mixture of 1-5 MPa over a pressing period of up to 60 minutes; and e) removing the sleeper from the mould.

Method for producing a sleeper for use in the railway track superstructure

A rail fastening arrangement in which a rail for a rail vehicle is fastened to a base, and to a shim. The rail fastening arrangement includes two guide plates, of which one guide plate respectively is associated with one of the longitudinal sides of the rail, and a shim which is arranged between the base and the rail. The shim, at its top, has a contact area on which the rail is supported, and, at its bottom, has a supporting surface by way of which the shim is supported on the base. The contact area and the supporting surface of the shim, viewed in a section located transversely to the longitudinal extension of the rail, enclose an acute angle. The edge at which the shim is thinner is arranged beneath the rail, fastening of rails oriented at a cant relative to the vertical in the region of points.

A system for fastening a rail on a subsurface, includes a support plate having a contact surface, and at least one guide plate that is seated on said support plate and has a passage opening for a clamping element, which leads from the free top side thereof to the bottom side thereof. The clamping element is guided through the passage opening and is fixedly connected to the subsurface. A latching connection between the support plate and the guide plate is formed in the region of the passage opening by at least one latch arm. The latch arm engages through said passage opening and has a latch projection which interacts in an interlocking manner with a stop formed on said guide plate. A recess is molded into the circumferential surface delimiting said passage opening of said guide plate, in which recess the respectively associated latch arm is seated.

The invention relates to a guide plate for a system for fastening a rail to a substrate on which there is provided, laterally of the railway track, a shoulder, which absorbs the forces occurring when the rail is traveled on by a rail vehicle, the guide plate having an underside which is associated with the substrate and an upper side which is exposed in the installation position, is remote from the underside and on which it is possible to support a spring element provided for applying resiliently elastic holding-down forces to the rail to be fastened.

A system includes a guide plate, a fastening member and a resilient member, for fastening a rail on a solid base. The guide plate serves as a guide for the rail in the horizontal direction and as a stop for movements of the rail in the vertical direction. The guide plate has a contacting surface against which the longitudinal side of the foot of the rail rests. The resilient member which rests on the guide plate exerts substantially no hold-down force on the rail and merely supports the guide plate elastically against the clamping member. The resilient member is of a W-shaped or S-shaped configuration and, in the fitted state, a portion thereof projects sufficiently far over the foot of the rail for it to be retained resiliently by the resilient member if it is moved upwards in the vertical direction.

A system and a method for fastening a rail to a substrate, with a guide plate for laterally guiding the rail that has a standing surface associated with the substrate, a support element to support the guide plate in the assembly position, a spring element supported on the guide plate and at least one spring arm for exerting a resilient holding force onto the foot of the rail, and a tensioning means for tensioning the spring element. The fastening can be assembled in that the support element has a support lug supported on the substrate in the assembly position to reach under the standing surface of the guide plate in a way that the guide plate is supported on the substrate via the support lug in the region where the guide plate and support lug overlap.

A system for fixing a rail onto a foundation and to a guide plate. The system comprises a spring element, with at least one spring arm, which can be clamped against the foundation by means of a clamping element, an adapter piece, with a contact surface section, which sits on an end section of the spring arm, and a guide plate. The guide plate has a contact surface for the rail foot and a sliding surface which adjoins the contact surface via which the adapter piece can be moved from a pre-assembly position in which it sits on the guide plate with its contact surface section to an assembly position in which it is seated, with its contact surface section, on the rail foot of the rail to be fixed. A stop is provided on the sliding surface against which the adapter piece rests in the pre-assembly position.

The invention relates to a system for securing a rail, including a guide plate for providing lateral support for the rail to be secured, a spring element supported on the guide plate and having at least one spring arm exerting an elastic retaining force on the base of the rail, and tensioning means for tensioning the spring element. Such a system allows an optimally secure support of the rail even in the case of a level ground having no indentations or stop shoulders, whilst being easy to handle and having only a small number of components to be mounted in each case, by providing a support angle which may be connected to the solid ground and which has a bearing surface against which the guide plate rests on the side facing away from the rail base. According to the invention the support angles are made from a plastic material, in order to facilitate assembly and improve the function of the support angles in practical use.

A system for fastening a rail to a solid foundation, and a method for renovating a rail-fastening point. The system and the method allow a fastening point for a rail to be easily and economically renovated in such a way that a permanently reliable function of the renovated fastening is then ensured again while the worn support section remains. The system for fastening a rail to a solid ground foundation includes: a layer formed by a compensating mass applied to the support section; a base plate resting on the layer and extending over the support section, upon which the rail is supported in the finally installed state; a spring element for exerting a resilient elastic retention force on the rail; and a clamping element that can be anchored in the solid foundation for clamping the spring element.

The screw anchor utilizes material with high elasticity arranged in the upper partial section, wherein this material, when in a mounted state, forms an elevation which extends in an upward direction over an upper side of an end surface of the upper partial section and reduces a free opening section of the inner chamber of the upper partial section.

A system for fixing a rail onto a foundation and a support plate intended for such a system. The system comprises a guide plate, a spring element which can be clamped against the foundation by means of a clamping element, sits on the guide plate and in the final mounted system with its free spring arm exerts a retaining force on a rail foot of the rail, and a support plate which is arranged to compensate for height differences between the guide plate and the foundation concerned. The system proposes dividing the support into two parts along a joint line which runs, starting from the one long side of the support plate aligned transverse to the rail to be fixed, at a distance from the one short side to the passage opening and from there intersecting the passage opening in the direction of the short side of the support plate.
