An actuator for opening and closing a door or a tailgate of a car contains a helical compression spring and a motor. The helical compression spring is provided for opening a door or the tailgate of a car when compressive forces of the helical compression spring are released. The motor is provided for compressing the helical compression spring in order to close the door or the tailgate of the car. The helical compression spring contains a helically coiled coated steel wire. The helically coiled coated steel wire contains a steel core and a metallic coating layer. The steel core contains a steel alloy. The steel alloy contains 0.8 to 0.95 wt % carbon, 0.2 to 0.9 wt % manganese; 0.1 to 1.4 wt % silicon; optionally one or more micro-alloying element. The microstructure of the steel core is drawn lamellar pearlite. The metallic coating layer contains at least 84% by mass of zinc.

Actuator for opening and closing a door or a tailgate of a car

An electric power transmission cable comprises electric power conductors and a plurality of parallel spiralled armouring wires. The electric power transmission cable comprises along its length a first section (I), a second section (III) and a transition section (II). The transition section (II) is provided between the first section (I) and the second section (III). The plurality of parallel spiralled armouring wires in the first section (I) comprises or consists out of first armouring wires (). The first armouring wires () are carbon steel wires comprising a metallic corrosion resistant coating. At least part of the plurality of parallel spiralling armouring wires in the second section (III) comprise austenitic steel wires (). In the transition section (II), ends of first armouring wires () are individually welded to ends of austenitic steel wires () of the second section (III). The transition section (II) starts at the first weld () between a first armouring wire () and an austenitic steel wire (). The transition section (II) ends at the last weld () between a first armouring wire () and an austenitic steel wire (). The transition section (II) is at least 10 meter long.

An elongated steel element having a non-round cross-section and being in a work-hardened state, said elongated steel element having as steel composition: a carbon content ranging from 0.20 weight percent to 1.00 weight percent, a silicon content ranging from 0.05 weight percent to 2.0 weight percent, a manganese content ranging from 0.40 weight percent to 1.0 weight percent, a chromium content ranging from 0.0 weight percent to 1.0 weight percent, a sulfur and phosphor content being individually limited to 0.025 weight percent, contents of nickel, vanadium, aluminium, molybdenum or cobalt all being individually limited to 0.5 weight percent, the remainder being iron and unavoidable impurities, said steel having martensitic structure that comprises martensitic grains, wherein a fraction of at least 10 volume percent of martensitic grains is oriented.
