Disclosed is a photographic capturing device for the capturing of photographic image information from photographic media with a light source, with a stage for the photographic medium to preset a reference position for the projection of the photographic medium by way of a projection optics onto a detection element which detects the light originating from the light source and modulated by the photographic medium according to the image information, whereby a sample carrier with a sample is provided for the control of the focus of the projected image, and a positioning mechanism which removably places the sample carrier at the reference position for projecting the sample onto the detection element by way of the projection optics.

Photographic scanner with focus control

The photoelectric scanning device for original images contained on a photographic film has a film platform for the film, for temporarily holding the original images contained on the film in a respectively defined scanning position; a light source for illuminating the respective original image in the scanning position; a photoelectric converter for receiving light being transmitted through the respective original image in the scanning position, and for converting the received light into electrical scanning signals in a two-dimensional and pixel-by-pixel manner; an optical member for imaging the respective original image in the scanning position onto the photoelectric converter; and an electronic member for controlling the photoelectric converter and for reading out the electrical scanning signals which are generated by said photoelectric converter. A film notching device is disposed at the film platform in the region of the scanning position for punching or stamping a positioning notch into the side margin of the film at a location associated with the original image respectively in the scanning position. The integration of the film notching device directly into the scanning device requires only one positioning process of the films or the images contained on the films. Thus, the required apparatus cost and the technical control needed for the positioning are substantially reduced when compared to separate scanning and notching devices. Furthermore, the scanning device thus requires substantially less room than two separate devices, which is particularly significant when arranging the device within a copier device.

Photographic image acquisition device

A loading arrangement for a photographic copier especially for APS film including film cartridges is disclosed wherein the films are partially removed from the cartridge for processing and after processing again rewound into the cartridge, including means for the positioning of a cartridge in a working position, motor-driven unwind means for the partial removal of the film from the cartridge which is present in the windup condition in the cartridge and for the transfer thereof to film transport means provided in the copier apparatus, and motor-driven windup means for the rewinding of the film into the cartridge. Further provided are a storage chamber for coaxially receiving at least two cartridges in a defined orientation, as well as transfer means which fully automatically sequentially remove the cartridges found in the storage chamber from the storage chamber and bring them into the working position, partially remove the film present in the cartridge from the cartridge and transfer it to the film transport means and eject the cartridges after rewinding of the film thereinto.
