A brake lining, particularly for a commercial vehicle disc brake, and an associated adapter (), and a disc brake having said brake lining and the adapter () for commercial vehicles have a carrier plate () with a friction lining () disposed thereon and at least one force application region () on the side thereof facing away from the friction lining (). An adapter () is in a contact position with the force application region () in the operating position of the brake. The adapter, in turn, is in working contact with a brake plunger or a brake piston. In order to fix the adapter () and the carrier plate () at least in the radial direction () and circumferential direction (), mounting means () are provided on the carrier plate (), with corresponding mounting means () provided on the adapter. The adapter () is thereby simply disposed on the force application regions of the carrier plate () and releaseably connected thereto.

Brake lining having adapter for disc brakes

The invention relates to a brake lining () comprising a lining support plate () which is provided with a friction lining () arranged on the surface thereof. A damper plate () is placed on the opposite to the friction lining () second face of the lining support plate (). Said damper plate () comprises integrated anchoring elements () for preventing lateral sliding thereof, wherein said anchoring elements () pass through a recess embodied in the lining support plate () and are engaged with the friction lining (). Damping layer () on which a brake piston can act during braking is disposed on the damper plate () opposite to the lining support plate (). An adhesive layer () is applied between the damper plate () and the lining support plate () in such a way that the damper plate () is fixable to the lining support plate ().
