A method includes predicting, before a first period of time, a plurality of predicted event metric values and value ranges corresponding to a first plurality of events to occur over the first period of time based on a plurality of prediction models, determining an actual event metric value of the first plurality of events, and determining a plurality of model range multi-partition error (MRME) values indicative of an accuracy, precision, and relative range of the forecasting models based on the actual event metric values, value ranges, and the predicted event metric values. The method includes selecting one of the forecasting models based on the MRME values, determining a cyber security control limit based on a predicted event metric value or predicted event metric range by the selected forecasting model, and outputting an alert based on an actual event metric value being outside of the cyber security control limit.

Prediction model selection for cyber security

A composition, suitable for use as a base in the construction of roads, parking lots, and other areas, is formulated from an ash aggregate comprising municipal solid waste incinerator ash, MSWIA, mixed with an aggregate material; upon addition of cement, compaction and curing, a volumetrically stable solid is formed. The incinerator ash is combined with an aggregate material, crushed, and sifted to remove particles having a size greater than three eights (3/8') inch prior to the addition of cement. The moisture content of the ash aggregate mixture and ash aggregate/cement mixtures are carefully adjusted to achieve maximum compressive strength. When ash aggregates containing less than 50 percent MSWIA are combined with at least 5 percent cement by dry weight, volumetrically stable solids are formed within seven days that have compressive strengths in excess of 300 psi. The stable solids immobilize heavy metals in the MSWIA so that leachates from EPA toxicity tests have concentrations of arsenic, barium, chromium, cadmium, lead, mercury, silver and selenium less than the EPA maximum allowable concentrations for materials to be classified as non-hazardous. A polling device (10) includes a housing (12), pushbuttons (14, 16) mounted on the housing for receiving customer responses to an inquiry, circuitry for counting and storing the number of times each pushbutton (14, 16) is depressed, and a time delay circuit for disabling the counting circuitry for a predetermined period of time after one of the pushbuttons has been depressed for discouraging repetitive voting. A display unit (46) for reading and displaying the number of times each pushbutton (14, 16) has been depressed is also provided.
