A device for protecting door hardware which projects from a planar surface of a door from damage by a cart being moved past the door. The device is a heavy steel bar, rectangular in cross section, which is bent in a U-shape having two legs and a central planar height portion. The bend on each end between the height and the leg has two complementary acute angles to form a 90.degree. bend.

Door hardware protection device

A device for protecting door hardware from damage by a wheeled cart being pushed past the door. The device has a generally 'T' shaped body with a cross member having its ends bent in a 'U' shaped to fit over the hardware to be protected. The long member of the 'T' extends at a slant back toward the door surface, there forming an inclined strike plate that a protruding corner of a cart can contact and ride over.

Panic bar protection device

A door bumper having no visible screws for mounting on a wall for contact with a door knob when the door is opened. A rubber bumper is carried on a housing which is non-detachably secured to the wall by a backplate. The backplate has a flattened V shaped spring with two radially outwardly extending ends which engage a circular notch extending around the inner periphery of the housing.
