A computer-implemented method is presented for automatically generating alerting rules. The method includes identifying, via offline analytics, abnormal patterns and normal patterns from history logs based on machine learning, statistical analysis and deep learning, the history logs stored in a history log database, automatically generating the alerting rules based on the identified abnormal and normal patterns, and transmitting the alerting rules to an alerting engine for evaluation. The method further includes receiving a plurality of online log messages from a plurality of computing devices connected to a network, augmenting the plurality of online log messages, and extracting information from the plurality of augmented online log messages to be provided to the alerting engine, the alerting engine configured to approve and enforce the alerting rules automatically generated by the offline analytics processing.

The present invention discloses a solution for handling text exchange input in a composite service environment. The method can included a step of conveying text exchange input to an ACM engine. The ACM engine can map the text exchange input to field and variable values of a component services application. A memory of the composite service environment can be updated using the mapping results. Specifically, field and variable values can be updated that are stored in the memory for a session of the component services application for which the text exchange input was provided.

Techniques are disclosed for presenting and collecting end user license agreement acceptance for software applications or firmware components executed on a computing appliance. A sentry component allows only certain commands to be executed before the relevant end user license agreements are accepted, e.g., commands to configure a network interface and web server on the appliance executed on a shell over a serial interface. Once configured the web server is used to provide a rich interface for presenting end user license agreements and obtaining acceptance thereof. Once the user accepts the terms of the relevant license agreements, then the appliance is made active and all configuration commands become operational, including commands needed to configure the device and start services which would otherwise be prohibited by the sentry component prior to license acceptance.

Responsive to the inferring step, the original modality can be changed to the second modality. A modality transition to the second modality can be transparent the speech application and can occur without interrupting the dialog session. The original modality and the second modality can be different modalities; one including a text exchange modality and another including a speech modality.

The present invention can include a speech enrollment system including an ordered stack of grammars and a recognition engine. The ordered stack of grammars can include an application grammars layer, a confusable grammar layer, a personal grammar layer, a phrase enrolled grammar layer, and an enrollment grammar layer. The recognition engine can return recognition results for speech input by processing the input using the ordered stack of grammars. The processing can occur from the topmost layer in the stack to the bottommost layer in the stack. Each layer in the stack can includes exit criteria based upon a defined condition. When the exit criteria is satisfied, a result can be returned based upon that layer and lower layers of the ordered stack can be ignored.

A method for testing an automated interactive media system. The method can include establishing a communication session with the automated interactive media system. In response to receiving control and/or media information from the automated interactive media system, pre-recorded control and/or media information can be propagated to the automated interactive media system. The pre-recorded control and/or media information can be recorded in real time.

The present solution includes a real-time automated communication method. In the method, a real-time communication session can be established between a text exchange client and a speech application. A translation table can be identified that includes multiple entries, each entry including a text exchange item and a corresponding conversational translation item. A text exchange message can be received that was entered into a text exchange client. Content in the text exchange message that matches a text exchange item in the translation table can be substituted with a corresponding conversational item. The translated text exchange message can be sent as input to a voice server. Output from the voice server can be used by the speech application, which performs an automatic programmatic action based upon the output.

Dialect translator for a speech application environment extended for interactive text exchanges

The present solution can include a method for using dialog contracts for contact center interactions. The method can include a step of determining a context that applies to a caller who is communicating with a contact center. A dialog contract can be identified that corresponds to the determined context. The dialog contract can specify requirements for a real-time contact center session. The contact center can transfer the caller to a contact center agent. The real-time communication session can be conducted. A software program, referred to as an agent monitor, can analyze input of the caller and the contact center agent during the communication session and can automatically update a session file as requirements of the dialog contract are satisfied. The session file can be used as a quality measurement of the communication session.

Enhancing contact centers with dialog contracts

A method and system for testing voice applications, such as VoiceXML applications, is provided. The system provides a run-time simulation environment for voice applications that simulates and automates user interaction. A user simulation script is provided in a customized mark-up language. The voice application is processed to derive a nominal output of the voice application. The user simulation script is processed to generate a simulated output for the voice application corresponding to the nominal output. The user simulation script is also processed to generate a simulated input for the voice application corresponding to a pre-determined user input to the voice application. The simulated inputs and outputs are executed in conjunction with the voice application in real-time to test the application.

Run-time simulation environment for voiceXML applications that simulates and automates user interaction

The present invention can include a speech processing method for providing dictation capabilities to a voice server. The method can include a step of establishing a real-time voice communication session involving a voice interface. Speech for the communication session can be streamed to a remotely located voice server. A real-time stream of text can be received from the voice server. The stream of text can include text that has been speech-to-text converted by the voice server from the streamed speech. The voice server can use a MRCP based non-halting interface to receive the real-time stream of speech and a delivery interface to deliver real-time text to a designated endpoint.
