An energy transmission control mount comprises a carrier having a first major surface, an opposite second major surface and an aperture provided therein. Channels are provided adjacent opposite ends of the first surface. Vibration dampening material is provided on the carrier. The vibration dampening material substantially lines the channels and the aperture and extends over at least a portion of the second surface.

Energy transmission control mount

A toothbrush and flossing system comprising a toothbrush having bristles, a handle, and a removable floss cartridge/container. The handle may comprise a cavity for receiving the floss cartridge; the floss container may comprise all or a portion of the handle; or the floss container may slip externally over the toothbrush handle. The floss cartridge may comprise a housing having a closed end and an open end, with a cap adapted to seal the open end and to protrude from the housing and the cavity with a recessed cutter separated from a floss exit opening in the cap. The cap may have a decorative design, such as in the form of a human, animal, cartoon character, or the like. In another embodiment, an ornamental enclosure is provided that attaches to the handle. Toothbrush embodiments for receiving the floss cartridge and floss cartridge embodiments for use with such toothbrushes are also claimed.

Toothbrush and flossing system

The present invention provides for an improved exercise resistance system to conduct numerous total body exercises. An adjustable elastic resistance cord or flat band may be combined with weights, or each type of resistance may be used alone, in order to vary the means of creating resistance during exercise. The length of the elastic resistance cord or flat band may be adjusted by means of a slip free, length quick adjustment device. The elastic resistance cord or flat band may be passed through the length quick adjustment device which may be secured at various points along the length of the elastic resistance cord or flat band, to change its effective usable length and thus change the level of strength, and range of motion. The length quick adjustment device may be secured by pulling an elastic resistance cord or flat band in one direction, and released by pulling the elastic resistance cord or flat band in the opposite direction. One end of the elastic resistance cord or flat band is attached to any hand engagement structure, preferably a cord handle/grip, a dumbbell handle/grip, a bar, or a glove. The other end of the elastic resistance cord or flat band is secured to any anchor structure, preferably a movable structure, such as a flat board, pad, aerobic step, workout bench, or TV interactive exercise structure.

Exercise resistance system

The present invention provides a multidirectional exerciser for hand, wrist and forearm comprising a handle having an axial opening through which a bolt extends. A spring means is around one end of the bolt disposed against an adjustment ring. A resistance knob is mounted on the adjustment ring. A pressure plate is mounted at the opposite end of the handle between the handle and the head of the bolt. At least one clutch disc is disposed against the pressure plate. A knob is mounted around the pressure plate and clutch disc, mounted for relative rotational movement with respect to the handle. The wrists and hands are exercised by holding the handle in one hand and the knob/grip member in the other hand, and repetitively twisting the handle and knob/grip member in opposite directions. A detachable grip member is mounted over said knob and the detachable grip member further comprises a gyro ring and a squeeze grip strengthener.

Universal multidirectional exerciser for exercising hand, wrist and forearm in multiple planes of motion with adjustable resistance

An exercise apparatus comprising a lower body exercise machine, at least one upper body exercise module positioned for engagement by a user of the machine, each module adapted to provide resistance to the user's full natural arm swing. Each module comprises an elongated connector, a user engagement connected to one end of the elongated connector for engaging or being engaged by a body appendage of a user, and a resistance mechanism for resisting a tensile force applied to the end of the elongated connector. The lower body exercise machine includes an exercise bicycle adapted for use with the upper body exercise module. The resistance mechanism includes a reel through which the elongated connector is wound and the reel containing a means of providing resistance against the action of the user.

Total body exercise machine

An exercise apparatus comprising a lower body exercise machine, at least one upper body exercise module positioned for engagement by a user of the machine, each module adapted to provide resistance to the user's full natural arm swing. Each module comprises an elongated connector, a user engagement connected to one end of the elongated connector for engaging or being engaged by a body appendage of a user, and a resistance mechanism for resisting a tensile force applied to the end of the elongated connector. The apparatus comprises a mechanism for adjusting the incline of the user platform of the lower body exercise machine and/or a mechanism for adjusting an attached railing between a close position suitable for gripping by the user and a far position sufficiently distant from the close position to prevent interference with the full natural arm swing of the user.

A shoe having a rubberized sole, a heel section having a heel support, an at least partially covered toe section, and a generally open midsection extending from approximately the wearer's toe/instep joint to the front of the wearer's ankle. In some embodiments, the shoe may comprise waterproof materials or water resistant materials. The midsection may comprise a side rail that rises above the sole between the toe section and the heel section. The shoe may further comprise a strap anchored to one side of the shoe and adapted to wrap around the wearer's foot to a securing member on the other side of the shoe to secure the wearer's foot in the shoe.

Slip-on shoe

A combined toothpaste dispenser and oral hygiene assembly includes a toothpaste dispenser which is preferably a rigid pump. A holder is mounted to the outer component of the pump for detachably housing at least one oral hygiene or personal care tool. Such tool may be a dental floss dispenser and/or toothbrushes. Preferably, a cover is mounted over the top of the dispenser to provide sanitary protection for the dispenser and the personal care tools and to function as a cup as well as enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the assembly.

Combination toothpaste dispenser and oral hygiene assembly

An aerobic climbing step/bench device includes a base in the form of a horizontal platform having a downwardly extending apron. Height adjustability is achieved by the use of detachable legs which are mounted to the base by mounting elements and complementary mounting elements on the legs and underside of the base. At least one set of mounting and complementary mounting elements includes a cylindrical post and a recess shaped to receive the post.

Aerobic climbing step/bench device

An aerobic resistance garment is particularly designed for warm weather or indoor or high temperature use by including elastic resistance bands and base fabric material wherein the base fabric material is breathable such as by being made from an open mesh or net material. If desired at least a portion of the midriff may be bare.

Aerobic exercise garment

An energy expenditure garment includes various elastic resistance elements located on the garment so as to help in the training of a user while participating in a swinging sport, such as golf or racquet sports. The garment could also include a biofeedback sensor to indicate when a proper swing has or has not been performed.

Energy expenditure/training garment

A remote control movable ball amusement device includes a plurality of shell parts so as to result in a non-spherical ball. Preferably each shell part is driven independently of the other. An antenna is provided which extends externally of the shell parts to increase the range of operability of the device.

Remote controlled simulated tire amusement device

An energy expenditure garment includes at least one elastic ring section secured to the base fabric of the garment. The elastic ring section is made of a material which applies a greater longitudinal resistance force to the body of the wearer than the material of the base fabric. The base fabric is located longitudinally outwardly of the ring section so that there are alternating regions of differing longitudinal resistive characteristics.

Energy expenditure garment

An energy expenditure garment incorporates various techniques for providing resistance to the bending movements of the wearer. Such techniques include having a plurality of different types of resistance means. One of the resistance means is weights.
