A multi-purpose universal support is disclosed that can be configured to support multiple pipes, pipe junctions, vertical strut channels, horizontal strut channels, and thread rods. The disclosed support system allows for quicker installation, easy height adjustments, and a fewer supports than previously known supports.

A grounding clamp for securing a grounding cable to a tray having a number of spaced apart longitudinal and transverse members includes a body portion having a bottom portion and inner and outer end portions projecting from the bottom portion. The inner end portion includes at least two finger-like members projecting from the bottom portion for engaging at least one transverse member between the finger-like members. A portion of the body portion includes a cavity defined by the bottom portion, the inner end portion, and the outer end portion for receiving at least one longitudinal member therein. The cavity further receives the grounding cable. The outer end portion includes a threaded opening therethrough. The grounding claim further includes a threaded bolt that is received in the threaded opening in the outer end portion for securing the grounding cable to the at least one longitudinal member.

Grounding clamp

An adjustable support for cable tray installation. The support includes first and second posts, the posts being adapted for securement to a building surface. The support further includes an elongated bracket having a generally centrally located hinge and first and second generally opposing legs. The legs of the bracket engage the posts along at least one predefined engagement region. The support further includes a first securing mechanism located in the engagement region for locating the bracket with respect to the post during installation of the cable tray. Finally, the support includes a second securing mechanism for fixing the location of the bracket with respect to the posts upon final positioning of the cable tray.

Adjustable support for cable tray

A pipe clamp secures a pipe to a structural member. The pipe clamp includes an inverted U-shaped clamp body having a transverse surface and a pair of spaced-apart legs for attachment to the structural member. A threaded bolt is moveably accommodated through an opening in the transverse surface. The pipe engagement saddle is positioned at the distal end of the bolt. A split nut, supported by the transverse surface, provides for moveable accommodation of the threaded bolt there through. A split nut is configurable between a first condition wherein the threaded bolt is moveable under screw threaded operation; a second condition wherein the bolt is moveable through the nut under non-screw threaded operation. Movement of the bolt under the first or second condition affects movement of the saddle with respect to the pipe.
