This disclosure provides epimerase enzymes useful for commercial scale production of allulose from fructose. The disclosed enzymes ('epimerase variants') are variants ofCGD1 xylose isomerase engineered to have improved catalytic activity of about 1.5- to 2-fold compared with the parent enzyme.

The stopping condition includes determining that the draft load difference is less than the first threshold value, determining that a variation in the draft load between iterations is less than a second threshold value, determining that a maximum runtime is reached, and determining that a maximum number of iterations is reached.

A caster wheel assembly includes a frame configured to pivotally couple to a tool bar, a sub-frame rotatably coupled to the frame, and a connecting linkage configured to control movement of the frame relative to the tool bar. The caster wheel assembly also includes a locking assembly, which includes a lock lever movably coupled to the frame, wherein the lock lever includes a locking element and a release element, a locking structure fixedly coupled to the sub-frame, and a driving element fixedly coupled to the connecting linkage. The locking element is configured to block rotation of the sub-frame relative to the frame while the locking element is engaged with the locking structure, and the driving element is configured to contact the release element as the connecting linkage moves the frame downwardly relative to the tool bar to drive the locking element to disengage the locking structure.

A posture correction and weight balance apparatus includes a back support, a scale body, and a reflective body. The scale body includes a base, a left platform, a right platform, at least one first display, a left weight sensor, and a right weight sensor. The back support and the reflective body are oppositely positioned of each other about the scale body and terminally and perpendicularly attached to the base. The left platform and the right platform are adjacently aligned across the back support and mounted onto the base. The at least one first display is positioned adjacent to the reflective body and mounted onto the base. The left platform is electronically connected to the at least one first display through the left weight sensor. The right platform is electronically connected to the at least one first display through the right weight sensor.

Disclosed herein are three geneses of proteins herein established to exhibit a fructose to allulose epimerase activity that are useful for production of allulose from fructose at high temperatures and at low pH in the range of 4.5 to 6.0. Two of the three geneses descend phylogenetically from a common ancestral protein defined herein, and these geneses are distinguished from each other by different parental descendant proteins also defined herein. The proteins with high levels of sequence identity to the parental nodes defining from these two geneses generally exhibit higher levels of specific fructose to glucose epimerase activity than prior known fructose to allulose epimerases and exhibit such activity at low pH. A third genus is not defined by phylogenetic origin except by not descending from the same ancestor as the first two geneses but generally exhibit similar levels of fructose to allulose epimerase activities as prior art epimerases described to be useful for fructose to allulose conversion.

The air intake system may also include an air valve movable between an opened position and a closed position and a blower coupled to the outlet port via a conduit. The blower may be configured to create a vacuum within the conduit such that particulates are removed from the filter assembly through the outlet port. When the air valve is in the opened position, an airflow may be directed through the filter assembly in an intake direction from the pre-cleaner through the air filter and, when the air valve is in the closed position, the airflow may be directed through the air filter in a reverse direction.
