A gas-powered gun features an action bolt with a probe carrier assembly utilized to load a pellet into the rifle-barrel chamber and a striker that is released when the trigger is pulled which contacts a valve stem allowing high-pressure gas to expel the pellet and initiate blowback of the probe carrier assembly which, in turn, draws the striker rearward to fire the next round. A magazine is used in conjunction to present successive pellets from a continuous conveyor belt made up of pivotably interconnected chambers.

Efficient high-velocity compressed-gas-powered gun

A valve body has an outside surface and a cylinder. The cylinder has an inlet chamber and an outlet chamber. A piston has a head at one end and a foot at the end opposite the head and a piston body between the head and the foot. A cross channel extends from a first side of the piston body. A longitudinal channel is in fluid communication with the cross channel and extends to the outlet chamber. The piston is positioned in the cylinder so that it can be moved to an open position in which the cross channel is in fluid communication with the inlet chamber and a closed position in which the cross channel is not in fluid communication with the inlet chamber. The piston is actuated between the two positions by a differential in pressure between the inlet chamber and the outlet chamber.

Automatic leak prevention shut off valve

A mister has an on state and an off state. A sensor detects when an air conditioner turns on. The sensor does not flex with respect to the air conditioner. A driver circuit is coupled to the sensor and the mister. The driver circuit transitions the mister from the off state to the on state when the sensor detects the air conditioner turning on.

Air conditioner mister, apparatus and method

An apparatus includes a housing that includes a front face, a rear face, a front-face cut out on the front face, a rear-face cut out on the rear face, a front-face screen to cover the front-face cut out, and a rear-face screen to cover the rear-face cut out. A box insertable between the front face and the rear face. The box includes a plurality of wicks behind the front face of the housing when the box is inserted in the housing. The box includes a water connection fitting coupled to the plurality of wicks through a controllable valve. The controllable valve has an open position and closed position.

A lower receiver has a trigger assembly. An upper receiver is coupled to the lower receiver. The lower receiver has a bolt assembly and an L-shaped slot. The L-shaped slot has a long leg, a junction, and a short leg. The bolt assembly interacts with the L-shaped slot. The upper receiver has a rear end to which a compressed gas power source can be coupled. The upper receiver has a gas path from the compressed gas power source for firing a projectile through a barrel and for cocking the bolt assembly. The gas path is entirely contained by the upper receiver.

Efficient high-velocity compressed gas-powered gun

An efficient high-velocity compressed gas-powered gun includes a lower receiver having a trigger assembly. The efficient high-velocity compressed gas-powered gun includes an upper receiver having a gas distribution assembly and a bolt assembly configured to operate in response to actuation of the trigger assembly and configured to be operated by the gas distribution system. The bolt assembly has a first part and a second part that are separated by a small gap just prior to actuation of the trigger assembly, and become separated by a large gap, larger than the small gap, over a projectile-firing period of time immediately after the trigger assembly is actuated. The increase in the gap size is caused by movement of the second part in response to gas entering the small gap from the gas distribution assembly. The first part and the second part move together to cock the gun once they are separated by the large gap.

The present embodiments include assemblies and methods for releasably sealing a dipstick tube with a piston valve assembly in a sealable engine fluid measurement probe assembly. In an embodiment, the piston valve assembly is integrated in a handle portion of the sealable engine fluid measurement probe assembly. The seal may be established with an o-ring positioned on an outer diameter of a portion of the sealable engine fluid measurement probe assembly that is configured to be inserted into the dipstick tube. A port or opening on either side of the o-ring is coupled to the piston valve, or other equivalent valve assembly, for allowing air or other gases to bypass the o-ring, thereby releasing the seal between the sealable engine fluid measurement probe assembly and the dipstick tube.
