A board game scoring assistive device having a panel that includes one or more apertures accommodating a player game piece or token and a particular manner keeping it positioned over the proper area or score, especially when the game piece is sized so that it covers more than just a single scoring position. This invention helps to alleviate the questions of which position the piece is in as well as where the piece had been in the event of an accidental jolt to the scoring area.

A child-resistant package including two panels having one or more blister apertures and a particular manner of accessing the product within the blister apertures. One manner of accessing the product involves applying pressure to punch tabs defined by staggered perforations. Another manner of accessing the product uses tooled access slots designed to receive a tool to peel away tab strips to facilitate product access. Yet another manner of accessing utilizes tab strips, one or more folding lines and one or more crevice forming lines where the crevice forming lines are designed to receive a tool used to obtain access to the tab strips, and thus, facilitate access to the products. Still another uses dual tabs that need to be sequentially peeled away from the child resistant package housing to facilitate access to the product contained.

A child resistant product package includes a first panel, a second panel, a tab strip insert, and a blister package. The first panel incorporates at least one blister aperture and at least one tab strip access pad. The second panel includes at least one product access aperture and at least one tab strip grasping pad. The tab strip insert has at least one tab strip. The first panel and the second panel are fastened together. Once fastened together, the first panel and the second panel collectively form a housing for the tab strip insert and the blister package.

A packaging blank includes a first panel and a second panel. The first panel defines at least one blister aperture and at least one tool portion. The second panel defines at least one tab strip and at least one tool access portion. The at least one tab strip is at least partially severable from the packaging blank. The at least one tool access portion is substantially completely severable from the packaging blank. The first panel and the second panel are configured to be positioned relative to one another in a face contacting arrangement such that a first portion of a given tool portion is to be operably aligned with a corresponding tool access portion. As such, the first portion of the given tool portion thereby is capable of being accessed by a tool via the corresponding tool access portion.

A system for opening encased articles has a cutting apparatus that includes a channel formed from spaced-apart parallel walls. A cutting member having a cutting edge extends from one wall into the channel. A protrusion disposed in the channel at least partially overlaps and at least partially obstructs the cutting member. The channel is adapted for receiving the flanged edge of the article and the protrusion is displaceable to expose the cutting edge of the cutting member. A system further has the cutting apparatus juxtaposed with a container for storing at least one encased article.

Paperboard carrier for prepared food

This invention relates to carrier straps for carrying prepared foods, such as rotisserie chickens, roasted turkey, roasted ham, side dishes or deserts. Such structures of this type, generally, employ a one-handed, paperboard strap which is wrapped around the plastic tray and plastic domed lid package in which the prepared food is located. The carrier strap secures the prepared food package and transports it so that the purchaser's hands do not get greasy or hot. Also, the carrier strap functions to provide a printable surface to identify flavor and brand.

This invention relates to a modification for a round-corner flip top cigarette pack and the like. Such structures of this type, generally, relocate the inner frame in order to improve reclosability of the pack.

This invention relates to a two piece paperboard package that houses a unit dose product on an internal slide card within an outer paperboard shell. This package may have one or more internal or external lock(s) that prevent the slide card from being pulled out without triggering some type of lock release mechanism. This package is focused around providing a child resistant, senior-friendly unit dose package that can be opened and closed numerous times and then finally disposed of.

A multi-use envelope for at least two mailings comprises opposed front and rear panels foldably connected together at their bottom edges and secured together at their side edges by side closure flaps to form an envelope structure. The improvement comprises a pair of closure flaps foldably attached respectively to the top edges of each of the front and rear panels wherein each closure flap has an independent means for sealing and opening the envelope. A first closure flap is folded inside the envelope for the first mailing while the other closure flap is used to close the envelope. Upon receipt, the first closure flap is folded outside the envelope for use in closing the envelope for the second mailing.

A CD holder is prepared from three separate components comprising, an outer folder component, an intermediate panel, and an inner storage compartment. The storage compartment is die cut to provide a substantially circular opening having at least two spaced contact points and an integral spring element spaced around the periphery of the opening. CD's of varying diameter are captured by and retained in the storage compartment through the complementary action of the two or more contact points and the spring element.

A package comprising a flanged tray and a wrapper for covering the tray includes an easy opening feature for providing access to the contents of the tray. The wrapper is formed from a substantially rectangular blank of paperboard which is cut and scored to provide a top panel which is adhered to the tray flange, at least one side wall foldably attached to the top panel which lies adjacent to a tray side wall and a bottom flap foldably attached to the side wall which is adhered to the bottom of the tray. The easy opening feature includes a tab element formed from a part of the side panel which is connected to a removable lid portion of the top panel. The tab element and removable lid portion are formed by spaced apart, partial depth cut lines located on the inner and outer surfaces of the top panel and the side panel.

This invention relates to a hexagonal paperboard carton that is tapered with an automatic bottom. Such structures of this type, generally, provide a peeling feature that allows the consumer to remove the carton from the product in a continual, spiral strip.
