An electronic device includes a first display on a major surface, a second display positioned on another major surface, and optionally at least one imager collocated with the second display. One or more processors identify a predefined event occurring and select whether to present content on the first display or the second display. The one or more processors can cause an imager to capture at least one image. When image matches a first predefined criterion, the one or more processors cause a presentation of content to occur on the first display. When the image matches a second predefined criterion, the one or more processors cause the presentation of the content to occur on the second display. The one or more processors can also compare sizes of the first touch sensitive display portion and the second touch sensitive display portion to select between the first display and the second display.

Electronic devices and methods for selecting display locations for content presentation

An electronic device has a device housing and a unitary pre-formed fascia coupled to, and wrapping around at least two sides of, the device housing. The electronic device can be manufactured by loading a unitary glass fascia to cause at least two surfaces of the unitary glass fascia to separate, positioning a device housing within the unitary glass fascia while the unitary glass fascia is loaded, and unloading the unitary glass fascia to cause the at least two surfaces of the unitary glass fascia to narrow, thereby causing the unitary glass fascia to span at least two sides of the device housing.

Apparatus, such as can be included in an electronic device, performs a method for operating apparatus configured for combined vibratory and projection functions. The apparatus includes a mirror configured to reflect a projected image and a motor. The mirror is coupled as a counterweight to the motor to configure the apparatus for a vibratory function. The motor is further configured to translate and rotate the mirror about a first axis to align the mirror with a projector to reflect the projected image during a projection function.

In embodiments, a modular magnetic assembly includes a decorative modular section that is stackable with a functional modular section on a housing of a mobile device to form the modular magnetic assembly. The mobile device includes housing metal plates that are integrated in the housing of the device. The functional modular section includes magnets that are each positioned to couple with a respective housing metal plate that is integrated in the device housing. The decorative modular section includes section metal plates that are each positioned to couple with a respective one of the magnets of the functional modular section. The magnets of the functional modular section couple together the decorative modular section and the housing of the mobile device, where one side of the functional modular section stacks against the mobile device, and the other side stacks against the decorative modular section to form the modular magnetic assembly.

A camera assembly for an electronic device. The camera assembly comprises an image sensor, a housing barrel, at least one lens and a seal member. The housing barrel is positioned above the image sensor and includes a proximal end and a distal end, as well as an inner surface which defines a barrel cavity. The image sensor is configured to receive light that extends through the barrel cavity. The at least one lens is positioned within the housing barrel. The upper lens cover is positioned over the distal end of the housing barrel. The upper lens cover has an inner surface and an outer surface. The seal member is integrally formed with one of the housing barrel, at a distal end thereof, and the inner surface of the upper lens cover, wherein the seal member effectively provides a seal between the housing barrel and the upper lens cover.
