An electromagnetic actuator includes a coil that is selectively energizable by an electric current. The electromagnetic actuator further includes an armature having a outwardly extending prong. The armature is movably disposed with respect to the coil such that when the coil is energized with the electric current, the armature moves in relation to the coil and disposing thereby the prong on a first side of the coil. A flux gatherer is provided to be disposed around a second side of the coil, thereby channeling magnetic flux emanating from the coil back into the armature and prong.

A nozzle injection apparatus for use in internal combustion engines includes a fuel pump for intermittently pressurizing fuel, an injection conduit in fluid communication with the fuel pump, the injection conduit permitting the pressurized fuel to be communicated to a fuel injection nozzle a control valve in fluid communication with the nozzle, wherein the control valve dynamically and selectively controls a pressure of said pressurized fuel within the injection conduit.

Controlled nozzle injection method and apparatus

A nozzle injection apparatus for use in internal combustion engines includes a fuel pump for intermittently pressurizing fuel and an injection conduit in fluid communication with the fuel pump, the injection conduit permitting the pressurized fuel to be communicated to a fuel injection nozzle. A high pressure manifold in fluid communication with the fuel pump and the nozzle is also provided to accumulate the pressurized fuel which is residually left in the injection conduit between intermittent pressurizations of the fuel. The apparatus has low opening and closing pressures when starting the engine while ensuing high opening and closing pressures during operation of the engine. Further, the apparatus maintains high residual pressure in the injection conduit which provides higher than normal pressure to the nozzle at the end of a fuel delivery cycle to subsequently reduce exhausted pollutants.

In a calendar book each page corresponds to a part of a month and is subdivided into a plurality of fragments corresponding to the different parts of the month. The fragments of a page are releasably secured to each other for ready separation. The separated fragments of the pages may be successively removed from the stack as time ensues for continuously revealing the current date and the successive dates next-following beyond the dates of the next-to-be-overturned fragment.
