Display assemblies for inhibiting delamination of an optical stack are disclosed. A structural framework defines, at least in part, an enclosure for the optical stack, which includes an electronic display layer. One or more airflow passageways are located within the enclosure and define a continuous, interconnected airflow pathway extending along one or more surfaces of the optical stack. One or more fan units are positioned along the continuous, interconnected airflow pathway, and when activated, move gas through the continuous, interconnected airflow pathway and generate compressive forces at the optical stack, thereby reducing the likelihood of delamination.

A side assembly with electronic display and a mounting device positioned, at least in part, rearward of the electronic display having laterally extending portion and hooked portions facing, at least primarily, in a first direction is raised relative to another mounting device with hooked portions facing, at least primarily, in a second, opposing direction. The side assembly is raised so that the hooked portions of said additional mounting device clear the hooked portions of the mounting device as the side assembly is moved laterally rearward to at least partially overlap the hooked portions of the mounting device and the additional mounting device. The side assembly is lowered to engage hooked portions of the additional mounting device and the mounting device.

Self-contained electronic display assembly, mounting structure and methods for the same

Display units with vandalism deterrence are disclosed, along with related systems and methods. A display unit includes electronic display(s), shock sensor(s), and a controller which receives data from the shock sensor(s). Where the controller determines that the data received from the shock sensor(s) is outside of one or more predetermined parameters, the controller initiates a vandalism deterrence protocol for the display unit.

The digital signage unit includes an air quality monitoring device located along an open loop pathway for ambient air. The air quality monitoring device includes sensor(s) and receives air characteristic measurement data from the sensor(s), where the air characteristic measurement data indicates a concentration for each of certain compound(s). Where the concentration of any one of the compound(s) exceeds a respective predetermined threshold, content displayed at an electronic display of the digital signage unit is modified to include displaying an alert.

System and method for monitoring air quality while cooling an outdoor electronic display assembly

A proof of play information system, and related assemblies and methods are provided. Electronic display assemblies include media players providing content for display at electronic displays thereof, some of which includes static advertising images. A unit controller is electronically interposed between the media player and the electronic display. Redundancy check codes are generated for the content items transmitted from the media player to the electronic display. If a consistent redundancy check code is consecutively generated for a respective one of the content items, cause a play count associated with the respective one of the content items is incremented.

Bending mandrils and related bending machines and methods are disclosed, which include at least one ultra-high molecular weight (UHMW) material. Systems and methods for remotely monitoring digital signage. Display assemblies include components for operation, including an electronic display, and sensor(s) for monitoring local conditions. Server(s) receive data from the sensors and components of the display assemblies by way of local controllers and network connection devices of the display assemblies. The data is stored such that data points thereof are identifiable to the display assembly and sensor or component of origination. Data requests are received requesting specific information. For each request, a subset of the data points is retrieved in accordance with the data request and at least one data output display is generated based on the subset of said data points.

Systems and methods for remotely monitoring electronic displays

The digital signage unit includes an electronic display, a sensor for measuring tilt, and a controller which receives data from the sensor and determines, on an ongoing basis, an operating status of the digital signage unit based, at least in part, on the data from the sensor.

Display assemblies and related systems and methods are provided which provide modified operations for condensation control. A controller calculates a dewpoint spread between a dewpoint temperature for air at the display assembly and an internal temperature for the display assembly determined based, at least in part, on data received from one or more sensors located along an airflow pathway extending within a housing for an electronic display. The controller continues to operate the display assembly in a modified operating mode until the dewpoint spread is determined to be above a predetermined threshold by at least a predetermined clear parameter. The controller continues to not operate in the modified operating mode unless and until the dewpoint spread is determined to be less than the predetermined threshold by at least a predetermined buffer parameter.

Display assemblies with condensation mitigation and related systems and methods

Display assemblies for preventing delamination of an optical stack are disclosed. A continuous, interconnected airflow pathway includes each of a first, second, and third airflow passageways, where the first airflow passageway is located, at least in part, forward of the optical stack, the second airflow passageway is located, at least in part, rearward of the optical stack, and the third airflow passageway is located, at least in part, rearward of the second airflow passageway. One or more fan units are positioned along the continuous, interconnected airflow pathway, and when activated, push gas through the continuous, interconnected airflow pathway, including into the first and second airflow passageways to generate compressive forces by the gas at the optical stack.

Electronic display assembly

A fan unit for improved airflow within a display assembly is provided. Fans are provided at a housing which includes a rear wall opposite a forward portion and an upper surface extending therebetween. The rear wall extends laterally beyond each of the fans and defines peaks, each accommodating one of said fans and a valley between adjacent ones of the fans.
