An electrical control panel including an enclosure box being sealed other than at an inlet opening and an outlet opening, a primary electrical component inside the enclosure box and having a first heat exchanger that transfers heat from the primary electrical component, one or more secondary electrical components inside the enclosure box that generate less heat than the primary electrical component, a second heat exchanger attached to the enclosure box and having an internal air passageway that includes an inlet opening and an outlet opening in fluid communication with the respective outlet and inlet openings of the enclosure box and defining therewith a sealed compartment, and one or more diverter elements direct a majority of the heated air from the first heat exchanger to enter the internal air passageway of the second heat exchanger without flowing over at least one of the secondary electrical components.

A magnetically engaged pump includes a pump housing with a rotatable magnetic drive assembly, a cylindrical canister and a rotatable driven magnet assembly. This magnetic coupling is associated with a pump rotor and a laterally positioned gear wheel to define a gear pump. This magnetic coupling is alternatively associated with a pump rotor with an impeller to define a centrifugal pump. Either pump includes a stationary shaft to mount the driven magnet assembly and pump rotor. A rotatable carrier with bushings and thrust bushings coaxially supports the rotatable driven magnet assembly and pump rotor.

The disclosure provides a gear pump rotor assembly that includes a rotor body, a rotor head having a plurality of gear teeth and being connected to the rotor body, at least one connector extending between the rotor body and the rotor head, at least one radial deformation control member that extends into at least one gear tooth of the rotor head and reduces the radial deformation of the rotor head relative to the rotor body when a change in temperature causes radial deformation of the rotor body and rotor head.

A reciprocating pump and transmission assembly having a one-way clutch is disclosed. The transmission includes an input shaft with an eccentric element, a drive link rotatably connected at one end to the eccentric element and at the other to a driven arm. The driven arm is connected to a driven shaft via a one-way clutch. The oscillating motion of the eccentric drives the drive link and driven arm and the one-way clutch translates that motion into incremental motion of the driven shaft. By changing the stroke length of the drive link various gear ratios between the drive shaft and driven shaft are achieved. The driven shaft then uses a mechanism such as a Scotch Yoke to create reciprocating motion to drive one or more pumping elements.

The present disclosure provides a multi-piece containment canister assembly for use in magnetically coupled fluid handling devices such as rotary pumps, mixers, flowmeters or valves. The canister assembly includes a generally tubular single-piece body and an end cap that are sealingly fastened together to form a generally cup-shaped canister. The canister body may be made of strong, non-conductive or low conductive materials, such that it greatly reduces eddy currents. The generally tubular shape of the canister body is easier, and therefore less costly to manufacture than typical cup-shaped canisters.

Pump devices

Rotary devices having a casing and an inner drive portion of a magnet coupling disposed inside of a rotor assembly are disclosed. The inner drive portion and rotor assembly are disposed within the casing and rotatable about a rotational axis. The rotor assembly includes a bushing between the magnets of the rotor assembly and a stationary canister is sealed to the casing and separates an internal fluid chamber within the casing from the inner driven portion. The stationary canister can be of multi-piece or unitary construction and is held in position by a front portion of the casing.

Rotodynamic pumps having an inner drive permanent magnet coupling disposed inside an impeller are provided. The impeller has a casing having a pumping region generally in a pumping plane that is perpendicular to the rotational axis of the impeller and aligned with a permanent magnet coupling that includes outer magnets that are connected to the impeller and at least partially aligned with the pumping region of the impeller, and inner magnets that are connected to an inner magnet ring and are axially aligned with the outer magnets. A canister is sealed to the casing and separates the outer magnets from the inner magnets.

A magnetically driven gear pump having a housing, a rotatable annular magnetic drive assembly magnetically coupled to but spaced from an annular driven magnet and rotor gear assembly with an annular canister disposed therebetween, and wherein when the annular magnetic drive assembly is rotated, the annular driven magnet and rotor gear assembly rotate on a first shaft portion of an offset stationary shaft and the rotor gear drives an idler gear that rotates on a second shaft portion of the offset stationary shaft.
