A heat molded, transparent baffle for instrumental sound deflection is disclosed. The Baffle is a single, molded shield that reflects the sound in any direction the audio engineer decides. It is quickly mounted in one minute, transparent, and ready for sound check.

Sound baffle

A gas diverter is disclosed that slows, cools, and directs the hot gas and plasma generated during the operation of an electrical switching device. The gas diverter mounts to the switching device and has an inlet for accepting the gas and exit for expelling the gas. The diverter has peripheral walls and internal partitions that divide the gas and provide for two independent circuitous flow paths. In multi-phase switching devices, a plurality of gas diverters may be used to further separate the gases generated in each respective phase. The gas diverter is made of a high temperature, arc resistant plastic which is molded to form a two piece structure. The gas diverter is mounted to the device via a slide in place flange-channel mechanism.

An apparatus for pressing and holding wooden boards flat in straight alignment and to correct any warpage of the board to achieve a true cut with a radial arm saw, dado cutter, or other such wood cutting equipment.

An electric coil is coupled across a pair of normally closed electric contacts which are attached to two electric terminals. The contacts and terminals are supported by pockets in an insulating base member which also supports a bobbin upon which the electric coil is wound. Each terminal is supported within its pocket by a pair of spaced legs having projecting spurs which bite into the margins of the pockets and prevent the terminals from being withdrawn. An armature is pivotally mounted over one end of the coil, and an actuating arm is attached to the armature for opening the contacts in response to a predetermined amount of movement by an object in contact with the actuating arm. This energizes the coil by removing the short circuit around it and causes the armature to buzz until the coil is de-energized.

Kickout switch and buzzer

A solenoid coil is connected in series with an electric motor. The spring which urges the solenoid plunger away from the coil is of such strength that it will yield to the magnetic attraction of the coil when the motor-starting inrush current is flowing through the coil, but will not yield when the motor-running current is flowing through the coil. Thus the solenoid plunger reciprocates each time the motor is started. The solenoid plunger is formed of a flat sheet of magnetic material curled into the shape of a hollow cylindrical shell. The solenoid frame has a forked portion through which the plunger extends, the forked portion having sufficient depth to minimize side loading of the plunger. An end of the frame is also shaped to act as a spring in holding the solenoid parts in assembled relationship.
