A confectionary fountain assembly enables user to self-serve confectionary liquid, such as liquid chocolate. The fountain assembly comprises a base assembly, a conduit assembly, a functional sculpture, and an annular basin. The base assembly supports a bowl-shaped receptacle and houses a heating element and a motor assembly for respectively providing chocolate-liquefying thermal energy and rotational movement. The conduit assembly is coupled to the motor assembly and the receptacle and comprises a liquid chocolate lifting auger. The sculpture assembly receives the lifted chocolate and imparts pressure thereto for further directing the chocolate to a sculpture outlet. The chocolate, upon exiting the outlet, covers an outer decorative surface of the sculpture and returns to the receptacle. The outer basin is supported in concentric relation about the receptacle and provides a second pooled confectionary liquid source, the pooled confectionary liquid sources and the outlet confectionary liquid enabling the user to self-serve confectionary liquid.

Confectionary liquid serving assembly

A chassis for holding modules including a set of first modules oriented horizontally in the chassis and a set of second modules oriented vertically in the chassis. A midplane is oriented orthogonally to the sets of first and second modules. The midplane has connector pins extending from its first side through its second side. Each of the first modules has a first connector for mating with the connector pins extending from the first side, and each of the second modules has a second connector for mating with the connector pins extending from the second side.

Cross-midplane switch topology

An apparatus, a wildfire protection method for houses and other structures from the destructive forces of a wildland fire. The current form of the preferred embodiment consists of a highly fireproof material, which is pre-fitted to cover each area of structure including gables or dormers one section at a time. The material is contained on a fireproof deployment apparatus such as a roller means having a retractable mechanism. The deployment apparatus is contained and secured within a housing, this housing being supported by firmly mounting it to strategic areas of the architectural structure. Once installed, deployment of the fireproof covering material is accomplished by unrolling the material from one side of the fireproof deployment apparatus. Each pre-fitted section of fireproof material contains reinforced edges, which are fitted with multiple fasteners by which to attach one section of said fireproof material to another as each is deployed from a series of apparatus. Each section of material is deployed in sequence and fastened to other nearby sections. The fireproof material once deployed by sections and fastened over the entire structure will provide protection from the high heat and burning embers associated with wildfires. Total structure coverage is accomplished very quickly by using several of these apparatus in series, each of which are strategically attached to the structure architecture.

Fire protection cover apparatus for structures

A plurality of magnetic reed switches are arranged in a plurality of rows and columns. Mounted above the plane of the reed switches but in close proximity thereto is an electromagnet. Stepping motors are capable of moving the electromagnet so as to overly any one of the reed switches. When the electromagnet is in position over a selected switch, it can be energized to selectively turn the switch on or off. A sensing circuit including a Hall effect transistor travels with the electromagnet and senses if the reed switch below the sensor is on or off.

Magnetic reed switching array

An arrangement of sewing successive edges of material which extend in two directions. The arrangement comprises a stationary sewing table having a prescribed sewing area. The sewing table supports a carriage. A sewing machine is supported by the carriage. Drives are provided for the carriage and the sewing machine and are operative to move the carriage selectively in the X and Y directions while operating the sewing machine to sew. A material feeding assembly having an independent drive is provided to feed material into the sewing area and to maintain the fed material in the sewing area in a flat fixed position for a prescribed period of time. A control operates to actuate the feeding assembly to position the material, to actuate the sewing machine to sew and to actuate the carriage carrying the sewing machine to move in the X and Y directions about the sewing area forming automatically a folded fabric having all edges stitched.

Automatic pillow sham sewing machine

A fire fighting trainer is provided for use in training fire fighters and passenger rescuers during aircraft simulated cabin fires and simulated landing gear fires and during simulated oil spill module fires. The trainer includes a mockup aircraft, a mockup fuel spill module, a liquid fuel and vapor fuel supply system, and a fire control system. A method of training fire fighters and passenger rescuers is also provided.

Fire fighting trainer

A climbing tree stand comprised of a platform having a V-shaped front edge. The platform has a pair of L-shaped brackets secured thereto on opposing sides thereof. A pair of sleeves are secured to the L-shaped bracket of the platform. A tree clevis has securement poles extending outwardly from end portions thereof. The securement poles are telescopically received within open ends of the pair of sleeves and engaged thereto by a bolt and wing nut. A clevis blade having a sharpened front edge is secured to the front edge of the platform with the sharpened front edge extending outwardly of the front edge of the platform.

Climbing tree stand

A fire fighting trainer for use in training fire fighters to extinguish jet crash fuel fires and the like, the trainer includes a supply pipe and control valve, a distribution pipe with holes, an open tank with a diffuser being a mixture of water and gravel within which the distribution pipe is disposed, so that liquid propane jets out from the holes, then passes as vapor bubbles to the diffuser surface, then collects as propane vapor on the surface, and a gas pilot flame device for lighting the propane vapor to form flames on the diffuser surface. The simulated flames look very similar to jet crash liquid fuel flames.

Aircraft fire fighting trainer having a mixture of liquid and aggregate

A signal switching system connects a plurality of parallel inputs to a plurality of parallel outputs. The inputs pass through a parallel-to-serial converter, and the resulting serial signal passes through a switching matrix. The output of the switching matrix is converted to parallel form in a serial-to-parallel converter. A flip-flop is disposed in the line between the switching matrix and the serial-to-parallel converter. The flip-flop receives and stores the output of the switching matrix, and transfers that output to the serial-to-parallel converter. The transferring occurs only when the flip-flop changes state, which is also when the switching matrix becomes rearranged. Separate but synchronized clock pulse signals control the rearrangement of the switching matrix and the switching of the flip-flop. The flip-flop isolates the switching matrix from the serial-to-parallel converter, and prevents switching transients from entering the output stream.

Signal switching system

A fire fighting trainer for use in training fire fighters is provided. The fire fighting trainer includes a structure having a plurality of chambers having concrete or grating floors. Each chamber contains one or a series of real or simulated items, which are chosen from a group of items, such as furniture and fixtures and equipment. The trainer also includes a smoke generating system having a smoke generator having a smoke line with an outlet for each chamber. The trainer also includes a propane gas flame generating system having at least one propane gas pressure controller and a gas line with a burner control and one or more single element or multi-element burners for each chamber. The trainer has a main control panel for regulating the flame generating system and the smoke generating system and for controlling the fire, or fires, and smoke in each chamber. The trainer also has one or more sensor assemblies in each chamber, which senses water, foam, powder and inert gas agent application, and which is connected to the main control panel to sense and report what and where and how an extinguishing material or medium or agent is being used in each chamber during a test of trainees or fire fighters, so that the single fire or spreading fire and smoke can be simultaneously regulated or reset to suit the conditions in the chamber. The trainer includes a combination of individual sensors forming a detector assembly which may include different sensing element types, and also include temperature sensors to monitor heat levels in the chambers.

A portable fire trainer for use in training by an instructor of a company employee in the use of a fire extinguisher for extinguishing a Class A trash can paper fire or a Class B spilled combustible liquid fire or a Class C electrical panel fire. The trainer includes a housing subassembly, and includes an equipment subassembly which has a burnable simulated multifire array of items and which has a flame generating and distributing system.
