Techniques are described for collecting customer data through a software application in order to optimize registration form to maximize registration success rates, based on a user engagement score related to user's interest, needs, registration behavior patterns, and source of user. In some examples, a method includes evaluating user data indicating interactions of a user with a software application. The method further includes determining a user engagement score for the user based at least in part on the user data. The method further includes determining, based at least in part on the user engagement score, a number and a type of one or more registration fields. The method further includes outputting the one or more registration fields to a display device based at least in part on a triggering event.

System and method for identifying true customer on website and providing enhanced website experience

An artificial intelligence system monitors and records usage of a set of mobile devices that have been 'paired' or grouped together. The system, over time, accumulates a history of times and locations associated with events that occur with respect to the devices. From this history, the system develops a usage model for the devices. The system, if it detects current usage diverges significantly from an expected usage, performs responsive actions which may include: notifying a user, via a paired device, that the mobile device may be lost or misplaced; command the 'lost' mobile device to enter a reduced power state, to prolong battery life; and/or command the &#x201c;lost&#x201d; device to emit audible and/or visible signals intended to facilitate locating the device. In some embodiments, the system predicts an imminent loss of the device before it becomes lost, based on current usage vs. expected usage embodied in the model.

A mechanism is provided in a data processing system to implement a chat topic identification system for identifying chat topics in a multi-user messaging platform. The chat topic identification system receives a plurality of chat messages submitted to a communication channel in the multi-user messaging platform, performs cognitive content language analysis, cognitive personality analysis, cognitive tone analysis, social data analysis, and conversation feature analysis. The chat topic identification system stores results in a user profile associated with the user to form a user profile. A new conversation prediction engine determines a conversation separation score representing a likelihood that a new conversation is being started in the communication channel. A new conversation separation recommendation engine generates a conversation separation recommendation based on the conversation separation score.

Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to access control and provide a method, system and computer program product for access control management for a composite application. In a first embodiment, a method for role-based access control management for a composite application can be provided. The method can include selecting a component for deployment in a composite application and parsing a security policy for the component to identify a mapping between a specific role for the component and a virtual role for the composite application. Binding logic can be generated from the security policy and the component can be deployed into the composite application. Finally, security access operations for the virtual role can be processed through method calls to operations defined in the binding logic.

Virtual roles

A method, system and computer-usable medium are disclosed for managing the user interface (UI) state of an AJAX application by automatically binding a uniform resource locator (URL) to an application code component. The metadata for controller functions contained in an AJAX Web page are read as it is loaded. Once loaded, the URL of the page is monitored for changes in its value. If the URL's value changes, then the value of the 'action' property of the changed URL is compared to the application metadata for validation. If the 'action' property of the changed URL does not exist in the application metadata, then the changed URL is considered invalid and its associated actions are ignored. If the &#x2018;action&#x2019; property is valid, the function specified by the &#x2018;action&#x2019; request parameter is called. A single object parameter is sent, with the properties of the single object parameter derived from the request parameters other than &#x2018;action&#x2019;. The function is executed and the page is updated to display the value of the object property.

Extensible framework for managing UI state in a composite AJAX application

A method of building compound extensible Asynchronous JavaScript And eXtensible Markup Language (AJAX) applications. A server-side web component utility searches an extension registry for Jazz web User Interface (UI) components and generates cached strings of JavaScript code based on the Jazz web UI components. When a browser accesses a Jazz web UI home page, the web component utility uses script tags to download the cached strings of JavaScript code. The web component utility executes the cached strings of JavaScript code and registers multiple available Jazz web UI components with an AJAX package management system. The web component utility serializes a subset of the extension registry that includes multiple extension points declared within the available Jazz web UI components. The Jazz web browser-based functionality downloads the extension registry subset data, parses the data, and makes the data available through one or more JavaScript Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
