A ganged servo flight control system for an unmanned aerial vehicle is provided. The flight control system may include a swashplate having first, second, and third connection portions; a first control assembly connected to the first connection portion of the swashplate; a second control assembly connected to the second connection portion of the swashplate; and a third control assembly connected to the third connection portion of the swashplate. The first control assembly may include two or more servo-actuators connected to operate in cooperation with each other.

A dispersement system for a UAV is provided. The dispersement system may include a plurality of dispersement nozzles operable to dispense an agricultural product at variable flowrates, a flow controller responsive to instructions and operable to regulate a volume of the agricultural product dispensed by the dispersement nozzles, and a control system. The control system may include a plurality of sensors operable to monitor a plurality of flight parameters and a processing unit configured to model an effect of the plurality of flight parameters on first flow control instructions corresponding to a prescription coverage of the agricultural product and calculate and output modulated flow control instructions to the flow controller. The control system may modulate the first control instructions to change a flowrate of one or more of the plurality of dispersement nozzles to achieve an actual coverage of the agricultural product that is closer to the prescription coverage.

Disbursement system for an unmanned aerial vehicle

A disbursement system for a UAV is provided. The disbursement system may include a plurality of disbursement nozzles operable to dispense an agricultural product at variable flowrates, a flow controller responsive to instructions and operable to regulate a volume of the agricultural product dispensed by the disbursement nozzles, and a control system. The disclosure provides nucleic acid constructs encoding novel chimeric peptides that are useful for nuclear and chloroplast expression of active nitrogenase components including dinitrogenase reductase and dinitrogenase, in plant cells. Compositions and methods for expression of nitrogenase in plant cells

This invention provides plants having resistance to invertebrate pests. More specifically, this invention discloses a non-natural transgenic plant cell expressing at least one invertebrate miRNA in planta for suppression of a target gene of an invertebrate pest or of a symbiont associated with the invertebrate pest. Also provided are recombinant DNA constructs for expression of at least one invertebrate miRNA in planta, a non-natural transgenic plant containing the non-natural transgenic plant cell of this invention, a non-natural transgenic plant grown from the non-natural transgenic plant cell of this invention, and non-natural transgenic seed produced by the non-natural transgenic plants, as well as commodity products produced from a non-natural transgenic plant cell, plant, or seed of this invention. This invention further provides a method of suppressing at least one target gene of an invertebrate pest of a plant or of a symbiont associated with the invertebrate, including providing a plant including the non-natural transgenic plant cell of this invention, wherein the invertebrate is the invertebrate pest, the recombinant DNA is transcribed in the non-natural transgenic plant cell to the recombinant miRNA precursor, and when the invertebrate pest ingests the recombinant miRNA precursor, the at least one target gene is suppressed.

The present invention relates to the isolation and characterization of nucleotide sequences encoding novel insecticidal proteins secreted into the extracellular space fromand related strains. The proteins are isolated from culture supernatants ofand related strains and display insecticidal activity against coleopteran insects including Colorado potato beetle () and Southern Corn Rootworm (). The present invention is an unmanned air vehicle designed for reconnaissance, surveillance, data acquisition, and general research. The air vehicle is a monoplane that consists of several pieces that can easily be assembled using a minimal amount of tools. The air vehicle consists of a forward and aft fuselage section, two identical horizontal stabilizers, and four identical wing sections. The aircraft can fly with all four wing sections, or with just two wing sections (the short wing configuration). Each of the four wing sections of the air vehicle can be interchanged with any of the other wing sections for the purpose of minimizing assembly time and spare parts.
