A climate control system for a vehicle having a plurality of modes includes an evaporator having a downstream face. The system also includes at least one blower that blows air across the evaporator. The air downstream of the blower has a pressure distribution defined generally along the downstream face. The pressure distribution along the downstream face is variable depending on which of the plurality of modes the climate control system is currently set.

A heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system for a vehicle may include a blower unit, an evaporator unit, and a conditioning unit. The blower unit includes a fan that draws in air into the HVAC system. The evaporator unit is downstream from the blower unit, and the air drawn in by the fan flows through an evaporator of the evaporator unit. The conditioning unit is downstream from the evaporator unit. The blower unit is disposed below the conditioning unit.

A climate control system of a vehicle includes an evaporator, a first blower, and a first blower passageway that receives air blown from the first blower. The system also includes a second blower and a second blower passageway that receives air blown from the second blower and that is fluidly independent of the first blower passageway. The system further includes a ducting assembly defining a common passageway that receives air from both the first and second blower passageways. The first and second blowers are configured to operate in parallel to deliver air to the common passage and across the evaporator.
