Various safety systems for power tools, and in particular table saws include detection systems for detecting a dangerous condition relative to a blade of the power tool, reaction systems for taking mitigation action in response to detection of a dangerous condition. The safety system may detect, prevent, and/or mitigate a dangerous condition associated with the power tool.

Mobility aid devices, such as crutches, provide improved ergonomics, comfort and support for the user. The crutches can include an axilla support that has a shape with a peak that fits in the center of the user's axilla area, an increased width for the pad area in the peaked region, a feature that curves upward and toward the user's back to prevent forward slippage of the axilla support, and a feature that includes upward curves or widened areas to prevent rearward slippage of the axilla support. The crutches can include a grip that has a wider rear portion when viewed from the top, a downward slope from rear to front, a front area that narrows and twists towards the outside from horizontal, an offset from the centerline of the crutches to the outside and a rear that is rotated outward from the support centerline when viewed from the top.

A coupler having a semi-rigid support member and two extrusions. The extrusions can be secured against opposing sides of a container. Each of the extrusions is fitted through a void on each of the opposing sides. The coupling can provide structural support when the extrusions are securely fitted into the void. Each of the extrusions can include an insertable end, a non-insertable end, a trunk, and a set of tertiary pawls extending from the trunk and the primary pawl. The tertiary pawls can be positioned between the insertable and non-insertable ends along a longitudinal axis of the coupler. The insertable end can be able to fit through a void from the frontside to the backside. The trunk can terminate at the insertable end in the primary pawl. The base pawl can be able to be secure the coupler against the frontside surface of the void.

A corrugated shipping container having an elongated container body with an open end, and a lid to cover the open end. The lid and container have a through-lid grip opening and one or more through-lid locking ports for locking the lid to the container body with a cable tie. The through-lid grip opening is configured with an ergonomic profile to improve the lifting, handling and carrying of the shipping container, particularly when weighed with shipping articles, such as a golf bag and set of golf clubs.

A body stretching assembly is provided. The assembly comprises a pulley, a plurality of body attachment straps, and a rope. The pulley comprises a securing end and a wheeled end, wherein the securing end includes a frame having a proximal aperture, a protrusion, and a pair of distal legs with fastening apertures. The proximal aperture is configured for connection with a pulley assembly supporting structure, such as a door jam or an exposed support such as a pole. A user threads a rope over the pulley wheel to begin treatment. One end of the rope comprises a hand attachment, whereas the opposing rope end includes one of a head, hand, or ankle attachment. The user pulls one end of the rope, thereby causing the opposing end to pull on the body of a user. Gradual actuation of the rope end provides a stretching exercise to a user.

An elongated strap can include of a series of ratchet teeth along a portion of the length of the strap. The strap can include a first and second end. A releasable head of the first end can include a fastening mechanism (FM) and a release mechanism (RM). The head can include an opening having the FM for temporarily engaging a portion of the series of ratchet teeth when the second end of the elongated strap is inserted into the head forming a loop. The RM can be configured to non-destructively release the second end. A non-releasable head of the first end can include a cavity which can have a pawl for securely engaging a portion of the series of ratchet teeth when the second end of the elongated strap is inserted into the releasable head forming a loop. The pawl can disallow non-destructive disengaging of the end from the head.

The invention provides for containers having grips and structure. More specifically, such ergonomic grips and structure enable a human's ability to lift and hold such containers easily and without significant strain on a human's body resulting from physical stress of a the container itself and/or a weighted load within the container.

An open-ended container having a pair of opposed sidewalls that are formed from a first sidewall member having a slot and a second sidewall member comprising an extending tab that extends through the slot of the first sidewall member. A blank of a single board is stamped and folding into a container, and uses less board material by weight than a conventional container box. The open-ended container has a pair of grip openings in opposed sidewalls for lifting and carrying.
