An organizer assembly includes a primary basket extending along a longitudinal axis between a first open end and a second closed end, the primary basket defining an interior. The organizer assembly further includes a bracket assembly extending along a transverse axis at the first open end of the basket, the bracket assembly including a plurality of hinge assemblies. The organizer assembly further includes a plurality of organizer trays, each of the plurality of organizer trays rotatably connectable to the bracket assembly at one of the plurality of hinge assemblies. Each of the plurality of organizer trays is rotatable between a first position wherein the organizer tray is aligned along the longitudinal axis and a second position wherein the organizer tray is aligned along the transverse axis.

A fiber optic closure including a receptacle, a bracket assembly, and an adapter is provided. The receptacle includes an interior formed between a plurality of sidewalls, a base wall, and an end wall. The bracket assembly extends along a transverse axis and includes a main body and a plurality of hinge assemblies. The plurality of hinge assemblies is spaced apart in a linear array along the transverse axis. The adapter is connectable to the receptacle and the bracket assembly and includes a pair of pivot arms connectable to the bracket assembly. The pair of pivot arms extends along the longitudinal axis from a lateral wall extending along the lateral axis. The lateral wall is attachable to the receptacle via a pair of arms extending along the longitudinal axis from the lateral wall.

Cable node transition assemblies are provided. A cable node transition assembly includes an outer nut extending along a longitudinal axis between a first end and a second end, the outer nut including an outer thread at the second end. The cable node transition assembly further includes a fiber optic cable. The cable node transition assembly further includes a cable positioning assembly connected to the outer nut and extending from the first end of the outer nut. A portion of the cable is disposed within the cable positioning assembly. The cable positioning assembly is operable to alternately fix the cable in a first position and a second position. In the first position the portion of the cable disposed within the cable positioning assembly extends along the longitudinal axis. In the second position the portion of the cable disposed within the cable positioning assembly extends away from the longitudinal axis.

The subscriber section and provider section are opposite each other relative to the adapter plate. The adapter plate defines one or more adapter apertures extending therethrough. The method includes identifying essential data in response to detecting a state change in a channel of the computer system, the essential data including connection state information used in performing a recovery operation. The method also includes separating the essential data from transient or incidental data, augmenting the essential data with validation data, and storing the augmented essential data in a memory location of a control unit in communication with the channel. In response to initiation of a recovery operation, the method includes retrieving the augmented essential data and validating contents of persistent data fields containing the essential data. The method further includes using the contents to restore the connection to an operational state when it is determined that the contents of the persistent data fields are valid.

Method, system, and computer program product for connection state recovery after fault

A method and system are disclosed for generating a data logout in a computing environment having a processor and an input/output subsystem for receiving data from and sending data to the processor. The method comprises the steps of the input/output subsystem maintaining a defined set of data; at defined time, the processor issuing a data logout command; and sending said data logout command to the input/output subsystem. In response to receiving said data logout command, the input/output subsystem sends said defined set of data to a specified location. In a preferred implementation, the input/output subsystem includes a channel subsystem and a plurality of input/output devices, and the data logout command is sent to one of the input/output devices. Also, in the preferred embodiment, the channel subsystem includes a channel control unit function and the data logout command is sent to the channel control unit function.

Method for generating a data logout in a computing environment

State information is communicated in a network to more efficiently utilize network resources. A first node forms a single extended query requesting state information from at least one logical image of a second node. The extended query is a single query requesting state information for multiple logical images of the first node. The requested state information includes the status of logical paths previously established between the multiple logical images of the first node and the at least one logical image of the second node. Upon sending the extended query to the second node, a single extended response can be formed at the second node having the requested state information.

Communicating state information in a network employing extended queries and extended responses

A low cost process for fabricating solder column interconnectons for an electronic package is described. The process includes the step of filling an array of pin holes in a pin mold with a lead/tin solder, which array of pin holes is in substantial registration with the array of conductive pads on one side of a chip carrier; heating the lead/tin solder in the pin mold such that the solder becomes molten and coalesces with the array of conductive pads of the chip carrier, thereby forming an array of miniature pins bonded to the array of conductive pads of the chip carrier; joining circuit components to the other side of the chip carrier; and reflowing an eutectic lead/tin solder paste screened to the corresponding array of conductive pads of a circuit board to bond the free ends of the array of miniature pins of the carrier to the corresponding array of conductive pads, thereby forming the solder column connnections between the chip carrier and the circuit board. The process is suitable for mass production of reliable, high-density electrical interconnections between a chip carrier and a supporting circuit board.
