A hydraulic fluid distribution system includes a mechanical switch including a first valve, a first actuation pin extending axially from the first valve, and a second actuation pin extending axially from the first valve. The first valve includes an inlet port, a first outlet port, and a second outlet port. The first valve has a first position with the inlet port in fluid communication with the first outlet port and a second position with the inlet port in fluid communication with the second outlet port. The first actuation pin is configured to move in a first axial direction to transition the first valve from the second position to the first position, and the second actuation pin is configured to move in a second axial direction to transition the first valve from the first position to the second position. In addition, the hydraulic fluid distribution system includes a second valve having a first position that allows fluid communication between the first outlet port of the first valve and a first chamber and a second position that allows fluid communication between the second outlet port of the first valve and a second chamber. The second chamber is in fluid communication with a hydraulic fluid return passage when the second valve is in the first position and the first chamber is in fluid communication with the hydraulic fluid return passage when the second valve is in the second position.

Reciprocating pumps for downhole deliquification systems and fluid distribution systems for actuating reciprocating pumps

A piston includes a piston housing and a decompression valve disposed in the piston housing. The decompression valve includes a valve housing seated in the piston housing and a valve member moveably received by the valve housing. The valve member has a radially outer surface including an annular shoulder. In addition, the piston includes an end cap secured to the first end of the piston housing. A radially inner surface of the end cap includes an annular valve seat. The decompression valve has a closed position with the annular shoulder of the valve member engaging the valve seat of the end cap and an open position with the annular shoulder of the valve member axially spaced from the valve seat of the end cap. The piston also includes a biasing member configured to bias the decompression valve to the closed position.

Reciprocating pumps for downhole deliquification systems and pistons for reciprocating pumps

A deliquification pump for deliquifying a well comprises a fluid end pump adapted to pump a fluid from a wellbore. In addition, the deliquification pump comprises a hydraulic pump adapted to drive the fluid end pump. The hydraulic pump includes a first internal pump chamber and a first pump assembly disposed in the first chamber. The first pump assembly includes a piston having a first end, a second end, and a throughbore extending between the first end and the second end. In addition, the first pump assembly includes a first wobble plate including a planar end face axially adjacent the second end of the piston and a slot extending axially through the first wobble plate. The first wobble plate is adapted to rotate about the central axis relative to the housing to axially reciprocate the piston and cyclically place the throughbore of the piston in fluid communication with the slot.

Rigless low volume pump system

A hydraulic drive system for a battery operated portable compression tool. The tool has an electric motor. The drive system has a self-regulating variable displacement pump with a rotatable conduit frame having radial conduits, pistons reciprocally located in the conduits, and a ring bearing surrounding the conduit frame in an eccentric adjustable location. Ends of the pistons are located against the inside of the ring bearing. A valve plate located against a front end of the rotatable conduit frame to control entry and exit of fluid into and out of the conduit frame as it is rotated.
