Reconfigurable assemblies include, for example, a housing assembly, a heater assembly, and an umbrella assembly. The housing assembly includes a cavity for receiving a tank. The heater assembly includes a heater, a post having a lower portion and an upper portion, and the heater attached to the upper end of the post. The umbrella assembly includes a canopy and a pole. In a first configuration the lower portion of the post of the heater assembly is operably attached to the housing assembly to define a patio heater assembly. In a second configuration the lower portion of the pole of the umbrella assembly is operably attached to the housing assembly to define a patio umbrella assembly. The heater assembly and umbrella assembly may be usable with and positioned in the center of conventional tables.

Structures for use in forming products having a wood grain appearance include, for example, a plurality of extruded layers having different colors/shades spirally wound about a longitudinal axis to an outer surface to define the structure. The plurality of extruded layers include varying thicknesses along a spiral length of the plurality of layers and/or portions of the plurality of extruded layers encircling the longitudinal axis include portions disposed at different distances from the longitudinal axis. In some embodiments, the spirally winding includes forming a cylindrical structure, and pressing the cylindrical structure into a cuboid structure having a square or rectangular cross-section across the longitudinal axis and at least a portion of the plurality of extruded layers defining a square or rectangle pattern across the longitudinal axis. Longitudinal portions may be cut from the structures to form the products having a wood grain appearance.

An umbrella base includes a body having a central passageway therethrough, an upper surface having a first configuration, a lower surface having a second configuration, and an outer peripherally-extending surface extending between the upper surface and the lower surface. The first configuration of the upper surface and the second configuration of the lower surface are correspondingly sized and configured so that when a second umbrella base is vertically stacked on top of and rested on the umbrella base, the first configuration of the upper surface of the umbrella base fits within the second configuration of the lower surface of the second umbrella base, and when the umbrella base is vertically stacked on top of and rested on the second the umbrella base, the first configuration of the upper surface of the second umbrella base fits within portions of the second configuration of the lower surface of the umbrella base.
