Apparatus for operating needle to inoculate the web of a bird's wing. An arm rocks a needle holder back and forth between a serum container and web positioner, along a path which causes the needle holder to move substantially vertically into and out of the container and web positioner. Gears cause the needle holder to pivot on the arm in response to pivotal movement of the arm, so that the needle points downwardly throughout its movement.

Inoculation system

Bird's neck vaccine injector has fixed tubular guard around an injection needle. The guard is adapted to have a bird's neck pulled against it by pulling loose skin from the neck, and to have the pulled skin drawn over the projecting end of the guard and pressed against the guard so that the needle may be advanced to pierce the skin next to the projecting end of the guard and then inject vaccine into the cavity resulting from pull on the skin.

Bird injection system

Generating centrifugal action by forcing a stream of petroleum fuel admixed with water along a fixed spiral path, separating the inner and outer portions of the stream, settling out the water in the outer portion, and recombining the two portions less the settled out water. This is particularly useful in a fuel line from which most of the fuel is continually recirculated to the fuel tank.

System of separation from a liquid

A recreation vehicle cabinet has a table leaf extensible across the center aisle and a pair of seats swingable about the front corner posts of the cabinet into and out of the cabinet interior.

Air entrained in a pumped liquid is released from a pumping chamber operated by a single piston and having an outlet passage controlled by a back-seating valve biased closed by a spring, when the piston near the end of its compression stroke causes positive mechanical engagement to open the outlet valve.

Liquid pump air release system

A bird is positively positioned in a fixed cradle and a motor drives injection needles at convergent angles into the bird's breast muscle tissue on opposite sides of the keel bone, actuates injection, and retracts the needles. Starting is initiated by the operator's hand which grasps the bird's legs.

A tray for holding sutures, vessel loops, umbilical tapes, and the like, having a base with a substantially flat upper surface and a lip on one edge thereof for hooking onto a Mayo stand. The flt upper surface of the tray has secured thereto one side of a loop and hook fastener substantially adjacent each side thereof. A plurality of transparent covers are hinged to said base and have the other side of the loop and hook fastener secured thereto in mating fashion with the side of the fastener secured to the upper surface of the tray. Tabs extend outwardly from the tray so that sutures or the like may be looped about the tabs, with the ends protruding at the opposite end. When the transparent covers are folded down, the sutures are removably held by the loop and hook fastener.
