Systems and methods may provide for generating, maintaining, and using an inventory for insurance purposes. An optimized inventory analysis server may use a demographic classification for a given user along with data related to items owned by other users to determine one or more items for recommendation to the given user. Details associated with existing insurance coverage levels may also be used to recommend new insurance products to the user. In addition, the optimized inventory analysis server may determine a depreciated value of each item within an inventory. These values may be used to assess loss and settle an insurance claim for damage to one or more of the items in the inventory. Finally, the optimized inventory analysis server may recommend incentives on products/services sold by third party entities and may further recommend incentives on insurance products for insuring items purchased by a given user.

Optimized inventory analysis for insurance purposes

Systems and methods provide for configuring and transferring multiple data files including image data files using a mobile device. A mobile device may acquire multiple data files including image files from disparate sources and transmit them to an enhanced image processing server. The enhanced image processing server may analyze the received image files using various techniques. To aid in analysis, the server may also interface with various internal and external databases storing reference images or other reference data of previously analyzed similar data. Further still, the enhanced image processing server may transmit a result of the analysis back to a mobile device.

Configuration and transfer of image data using a mobile device

Systems and methods provide for an automated system for analyzing damage to process claims and pre-claim consultations associated with an insured item, such as a vehicle. An enhanced claims processing server may analyze damage associated with the insured item using photos/video transmitted to the server from a user device (e.g., a mobile device). The mobile device may receive feedback from the server regarding the acceptability of submitted photos/video, and if the server determines that any of the submitted photos/video is unacceptable, the mobile device may capture additional photos/video until all of the data are deemed acceptable. In addition, the server may interface with third party entities such as repair shops and may generate a payment for compensating a claimant for repair of the insured item.

Processing insured items holistically with mobile damage assessment and claims processing

A computer-assisted method for determining, such as by a computing device, a success rate for a presentation page included in a plurality of insurance presentations is described herein. Based on the success rate for the presentation page, a display of a recommendation for an insurance agent to include the presentation page in an insurance presentation for a customer may be generated. The insurance agent may select an option to include the presentation in the insurance presentation, and the selection may be received at a computing device. The insurance presentation may then be generated to include the presentation page.

Generation and presentation of media to users

Systems and methods provide for an automated system for analyzing damage and processing claims associated with an insured item, such as a vehicle. Feedback loop in mobile damage assessment and claims processing

Systems, devices, and methods described herein are directed towards sharing and exchanging insurance information between individuals. An insurance application is provided to a mobile computing device, and the insurance application is configured to transmit insurance information to another mobile computing device. Transmission of insurance information from the mobile computing device to the other mobile computing device may be initiated using the insurance application. A message may be generated that indicates the insurance information was transmitted from the mobile computing device to the other mobile computing device. The message may be sent to an insurance system, and receipt of the message at the insurance system may cause the insurance system to respond to the transmission of insurance information from the mobile device to the other mobile device. The transmission of insurance information may be initiated in response to a bump gesture performed between the mobile device and the other mobile device.

Electronic exchange of insurance information

One or more driving analysis computing devices in a driving analysis system may be configured to collect vehicle driving data and infrastructure data in response to a collision. Vehicle driving data may be received from a first vehicle involved in the collision and a second vehicle involved in the collision. Vehicle driving data may be received for vehicles within a defined radius of the first vehicle and/or the second vehicle. Infrastructure data from infrastructure elements within a defined vicinity of the first vehicle and/or the second vehicle may be received. The received data may be used to initiate an insurance claim, assess fault for the collision, and detect fraudulent claims.

Vehicle-to-vehicle incident information collection

Systems and methods for the automatic exchange of insurance information in response to a collision event are provided. A wireless communication device may collect telematics data related to operation of a vehicle. The wireless communication device may detect the occurrence of a collision event involving the vehicle based on the telematics data collected. The wireless communication device may discover another wireless communication device locating in the vicinity of the collision event that has also detected a collision event. The wireless device may initiate an exchange of insurance information with that other wireless communication device. Other types of information may be exchanged between the wireless devices as well as between an insurance system in signal communication with the wireless devices in response to a collision event.

Automatic exchange of information in response to a collision event

Systems and methods provide for an automated system for analyzing damage and processing claims associated with an insured item, such as a vehicle. One or more devices in a data analysis computing system may be configured to receive and analyze movement data, and determine driving trips associated driving data based on the received movement data. Movement data may be collected by one or more mobile devices, such as smartphones, tablet computers, and the like. One or more driving trips may be identified based on the movement data collected by the mobile devices, including acceleration data, speed data, and rotation rate data. After identifying a driving trip, the previously collected movement data and/or additional driving data may be analyzed to determine additional driving trip data, such as the driver, vehicle, and/or additional driving factors.

Driving analysis based on movement data

A computer-assisted method for generating one or more insurance quotes for a user is described herein. A computing device of an insurance provider may generate a first insurance quote for the user. The computing device may receive from a database information identifying contacts for the user. In response to determining that at least one of the contacts for the user is a customer of the insurance provider, an insurance quote for the customer may be accessed. The computing device may generate a second insurance quote for the user based on the insurance quote for the customer and the first insurance quote for the user. For example, the computing device may compare the insurance quote for the customer to the first insurance quote for the user. The first insurance quote may be adjusted to be within a predetermined amount of the insurance quote for the customer.

Generation of an insurance quote based on another insurance quote

An automated safety notification system is proposed herein in which one or more safe zone access points may be physically deployed to one or more safe zones associated with a disaster area. If a person with a mobile phone or other mobile device enters the safe zone, the safe zone access point may detect the presence of the mobile device and perform certain functions in response to the detection. For example, the safe zone access point may initiate contact of a predetermined plurality of contacts that the person may have already designated before the disaster. The safe zone access point may also be used to initiate an insurance claim.

Safety notification service

One or more driving analysis computing devices in a driving analysis system may be configured to analyze driving data, determine driving behaviors, and determine whether a collision is imminent or has occurred using vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications. Determination of whether a collision has occurred may be based on X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis positional data from two vehicles. Driving data from multiple vehicles may be collected by vehicle sensors or other vehicle-based systems, transmitted using V2V communications, and then analyzed and compared to determine various driving behaviors by the drivers of the vehicles.
