Systems and methods are disclosed for dynamically selecting a connection path between a client device and a server. One method includes receiving, over a network at a server, a connection request from a client device; authenticating, by the server, the connection request from the client device; determining, by the server, a connection path for the authenticated client device based on the connection request; determining, by the server, whether the connection path for the authenticated client device is a new connection path based on the connection request; and storing, by the server, the connection path to a connection database in association with the authenticated client device when the connection path is determined to be new, the connection database including a plurality of connection paths between the client device and the server.

Systems and methods for dynamic connection paths for devices connected to computer networks

Systems and methods are provided for managing workloads across multiple resources in a distributed computing system. A data traffic flow between a source device and each of a plurality of target devices within the distributed computing system is monitored. A load state of each of the plurality of target devices is determined based on the monitored data traffic flow. Upon detecting a resource constraint for at least one of the plurality of target devices, at least a portion of the data traffic flow between the source device and the resource-constrained target device is adjusted such that the device operates at a reduced load state. The data traffic flow to the particular target device may be readjusted so as to restore its load state to a default or predetermined operating level once the resource constrained has been resolved.

Determining load state of remote systems using delay and packet loss rate

A method to remind an individual of an appointment scheduled in advance for the distant future requires that an oversized calendar be provided with a plurality of overlain separable discardable sheets each depicting a month of the year, that the calendar be mounted on a vertically oriented surface in a high traffic area, that during a current month an appointment be scheduled in advance for a date in a month in the distant future, that a sleeve be manually mounted in the calendar on the date in the distant future, that information concerning the appointment be manually integrated in the sleeve, that at least one of the separable discardable sheets be removed to expose the month in the distant future, and that the information concerning the appointment be viewed.

Method and apparatus to ingress and egress of chair

A dispenser arranged to be carried flat and manually assembled in an erected arrangement for dispensing small articles, such as medical samples. The dispenser includes a closure for selectively closing an opening at the bottom of the tubular sidewall thereof. The closure includes one or more flanges which cooperate with the closure in defining an upwardly opening access space when the closure is swung to an open position away from the opening. At least one of the flanges may be provided with a stop for limiting the outward swinging of the closure from the opening. A ramp guide is provided within the dispenser within the closure for guiding the articles outwardly through the opening into the access space for facilitating the dispensing of the articles. The dispenser container may be formed as a one-piece folded sheet element, permitting the same to be provided in a collapsed form for subsequent erection to define the dispenser configuration.
