Methods, systems, and devices supporting configurable resistivities for lines in a memory device, such as access lines in a memory array are described. For example, metal lines at different levels of a memory device may be oxidized to different extents in order for the lines at different levels of the memory device to have different resistivities. This may allow the resistivity of lines to be tuned on a level-by-level basis without altering the fabrication techniques and related parameters used to initially form the lines at the different levels, which may have benefits related to at least reduced cost and complexity. Lines may be oxidized to a controlled extent using either a dry or wet process.

Configurable resistivity for lines in a memory device

A retractable needle assembly is disclosed. The needle assembly consists of a syringe body, having a needle assembly on one end and a plunger assembly on the opposing end. The needle assembly, which enables and disables fluid communication between the needle and fluid reservoir, comprises a generally cylindrical body sealably disposed within the lower interior of the syringe body. The cylindrical body is rotatable, facilitated by a knurled ring, within the syringe body. Rotation of the cylindrical body causes either enablement or disablement of the needle assembly. Tabs, located on the syringe body are received within notches, separated by one-way and two-way ramps, located on the cylindrical body, such that the ramps facilitate either temporary or permanent disablement of the device. Plunger lock means are also disclosed.

Retractable non-reusable needle

A disk/file for magnetic recording having overall dimensions of one quarter inch thick by about the size of a standard credit card with pin connectors for connecting into a receptacle such as for pc boards. The file features a multi pole rotor mounted on the rims of two disk and a stator divided external to and coplanar with the disks. An actuator features a 'wobble' disk rolling around the inside of a nest of electromagnets and turning a small increment with such excursion around the nest thereby turning the shaft of the head support to actuate the head from track to track. The head support arm includes two sections hinged together and engaged with a third link that orients the head to eliminate head skew. A magnet withdraws the head devices from the disk surface to avoid sticktion when the disks are stationary. The head devices feature thin film cores that are oriented flat to the surface of the disk.

Miniaturized disk file pluggable into a card terminal

A device for measuring force of bending of a head-flexure assembly by a given amount characterized by the distance between a clamping surface for one end of the flexure and the plane (recording surface) in contact with the head at at the other end of the flexure. The device includes a load cell with a cell reference surface adjustably supported on a cell base which is slidably mounted on a main base. Adjustment of the location of the cell reference surface with respect to the clamp surface is achieved by a shaft threaded into the load cell with a first thread and threaded into the main base with a second thread so that by turning the shaft, the distance between the two reference surfaces can be very accurately adjusted. When the load cell is deformed by application of the head loading force to the cell reference surface, a signal from the load cell actuates a mechanism maintaining the cell reference surface in its initial location thereby maintaining the initial flexion of the flexure.

Device for precise measurement of force

A device for measuring force of bending of a head-flexure assembly including a load cell with a cell reference surface slidably mounted on a base having a reference surface, a shaft threaded into theload cell with a first thread and threaded into the base with a second thread so that by turning the shaft, the distance between the two reference surfaces can be very accurately adjusted providing that the device can be calibrated to an accuracy of less than ten milligrams.
