A filter apparatus is provided. The filter apparatus includes a filter element. The filter element includes filter media supported in a frame construction. The frame construction having opposed side panels and a rectangular border flange along a first end. The rectangular border flange projects outward from and extending around the opposed side panels. The first end is an inlet end or an outlet end of the filter element. The filter apparatus includes a filter frame adapter formed separately from the frame construction and secured to the frame construction to adapt the filter element for a different mounting interface. The filter frame adapter includes a pair of complimentary adapter flanges each projecting outward relative to one of the opposed side panels. The adapter flanges are at a second end that is opposite a first end. The second end is at the inlet end or the outlet end.

The present application provides a filtration system for a gas turbine engine. The filtration system may include a holding frame with a positioning element extending therefrom and a filtration unit for mounting within the holding frame. The filtration unit may include a positioning slot therein such that the positioning element extends through the positioning slot when the filtration unit is mounted within the holding frame.

A door stay device for automatically locking a door in an open position includes a first component adapted to be attached to a stationary support, the first component including a plate having a curved cam edge with a radius matched to a swinging movement of the door between closed and open positions. The plate has a slot open at the cam edge at a location corresponding to the open position of the door. A second component is adapted to be secured at a lower or upper edge of a door, the second component having a locking member arranged to move into the slot when the locking member is aligned with the slot and the door is in the open position.

A gasket and sealing system are described herein. One aspect of the invention is a gasket for providing a seal between a first object and a second object. The gasket comprises a base portion for sealing engagement with the first object at a first location and a deflectable portion extending from the base portion. The deflectable portion has an end portion initially spaced from the first object. The deflectable portion is engageable with the second object for sealing therebetween upon engagement with and movement of the second object towards the first object. The end portion is engageable with the first object at a second location upon the second object being further moved towards the first object.

Gasket for providing a seal between two objects

Embodiments of the present invention include a filter clamping device for use in a filtering system that provides filtered intake air for a power generation facility. In some embodiments, a filter clamp is provided, which includes an over-center action mechanism that locks the clamp in place against the filter gasket. Some embodiments also include a camming surface that provides gradually increasing pressure on the filter gasket as the clamp is engaged. The clamp may also include a stop that engages the filter frame at a predetermined position and determines, in part, the amount of clamping pressure applied to the filter.

An embodiment of the present invention provides an air sampling system for measuring corrosives within an airstream flowing within an inlet system. This air sampling system may include an air sampling unit with a plurality of sampling coupons secured within. Parts of the air sampling system may be externally mounted to the inlet system, allowing for an operator to access the sampling coupons, while the inlet system operates. In operation, an embodiment of the present invention has a sampling line connected to the air sampling system; the airstream flowing within the sampling line passes over the sampling coupons and then returns to the inlet system.
